Knotty's Toys (now have a logo) (Introducing Cerberus!!!)

OK so in the recent months I've grown quite fond of BD and dragon themed dildo merch.

I dont buy dongs all to often since most of my income is with whatever freelance work I get for doing custom artwork for ppls online.

Soo having experience in working with clay and silicone I've pretty much decided...HEY lets expand horizons and put my hands and mind to the test.
And we'll yeah...I've made a couple dongs, my hubby thinks I'm obsessed but is supportive none the less xD He says I should open an etsy account and go for it.

While I'm all for that I'm an wanting to post my concept models here first. If Im getting these puppy's made into toys I first want to to know if anyone else finds them eh "fun" or would like to see them in their collection.

I only have shore strength 00-30 platinum silicone atm, but if enough interest is shown I will be ordering 00-50 and pigments as well.
Keep in mind all toys are hand modeled and symmetry is not always 100%.
The pictures shown are made with scrap clay "hence the crazy colors of the guy on the right."

 

I think they are awesome! I can’t see the shape as well in the crazy colored one, but I could see myself buying the taller one for sure!

Thank you, my test models came out perfect I'm planning to buy some pigments and cast the bigger one soon.
My camera is crap when it comes to lighting, wasn't being friendly at all for my clown colored dong XD but its supposed to be a cerburus theme, with three heads.

 

Oh that's awesome, I've always wanted to dabble in 3d printing but seems like a pricy hobby to simply "tinker" with if you don't know the first thing about making 3d models lol
I most certainly will keep you in mind if I'm looking to make larger versions of my models or what not. Hand sculpting is handy but making an exact copy but with different proportions can be a tad tricky.

Just pored my first mold for the larger guy.
The silicone has cured beautifully and has a good solid gummy feel right now, going to give it over night for extra cure time and have pictures up tomorrow.

I picked a teal and blue combo in soft firmness.

 

First ever done came out beautiful.
For a first I would say he's very worthy of being sold to a discount price "to at least cover more supplies".
There are some improvements I will be taking note of on future creations.
1.Thicker base + Suction bottoms
2. Option for 00-50 shoreness
3. More pigmentation

I think I'll be adding suction to the bottoms free of charge since it really won't be a burden to add.

Honestly the tricky part is coming up with a name for this guy DX
I'm thinking something "shell/armor" related. He looks aquatic but that's just because I love teal colors lol

Apart from his base being soft I'm going to invest in a pressure chamber once the prototypes make enough funds, from there I should have a good set up and be able to crank out a few more models.

Honestly I've seen some awesome stuff come out of patreon, although I haven't the first clue on how to go about using patreon xD
I started doing freelance figurine commissions back before the Web became so conveniently advanced and i just sorta got set in my ways of doing things a certain way lol.

Make more

But I should read more into making a patreon, I certainly don't expect to be as well developed as BD or other indi creators I would like to make a nice steady hobby out of this project.

Next coloration for Akhelios the sea beast.
The punk came out so vibrant, it has somewhat of a sunset color.

Unfortunately the suction cup was added to early and resulted in a flop base.
But he stands more sturdy dispite this flaw.

It's all a learning process but I beleve I'm getting the hang of making these.

 

I love these colours! I hope the suction cup works out next time! Is there any chance we'll see an orange version coming up! Learning process is still process!
