Dear God, there it is. Scandinavia, Wisconsin.

 

I actually live quite near Venice... (small village near Warsaw)

 

Not many people like living there (very small, nothing to do sort of town), but I sure as heck wouldn't mind living in Sweden. It's my top choice of places to move to if I ever leave the US.

 

Oh? Any particular reason? Except for you know.. the beautiful ladies.

 

Well, from everything I've learned about it, they're quite liberal/progressive in terms of politics. I'm all for that. I also am used to cold winters in general already. WI gets pretty insane, so I think I could handle it. I also like that there is always access to healthcare and education for those who need/seek it. Seems like an awesome place, IMO!

 

It is pretty awesome. I for one really like it here. Yeah, there's great access to healthcare and studies. I'm sure whatever you're interested in there's a school that can take care of those needs. The public transportation is really expensive though and there's always something wrong with the commuter rail, especially during the winter. But eh!

 

I think I could take the pros over the cons, for sure! Someday I would at the very least like to visit for a week or two.

 

Definitely! You should absolutely do that.

That's about the same for me, maybe 2 hours away with the way I drive.

Don't despair chums. consider that not everyone on BDC has put themselves on the map and also not everyone from the old forum may be here (yet >:3)

 

This is true, but it's still kind of disheartening to see just how spread out everyone in the community is as of now ;^;

Poor baby, nearest person to be is probably a freaking day away currently!

 

I know of a couple of people within an hour or from me and then several within a day-trip length!

 

Mine put me about 3 hours south of where I actually live... ohwell ill fix it eventually

 

What's funny is that I know there are some NC BDers out there, they just haven't made the transition yet
