I just wanted to throw up a quick guideline about signatures, and specifically pictures. Since there hasn't been a rule about it, people seem to be confused about how big or small pictures can be.
What works best are images that are no bigger in either way than 800x110 px.
Example:
Much taller and they can be distracting and take away from forum browsing, and keeping it to around 100 pixels tall allows for some text without being overly long.
I've been messaging (and will message) those whose signatures are a bit too cumbersome. If you think your signature is too long, feel free to ask.
Also: It might be best if we try to aim to keep our signatures at a maximum length around 150 px tall. For reference, mine is about 120 px tall.
