    I'm such a big word games fan: Scrabble, CAH, Apples to Apples, Balderdash, that kind of thing. I also like to play poker (Hold 'Em only, please) though I'm not super great at it.

    One of my favorite games is something I learned in college called Round Robin Pictionary. If there's any interest I'll draft up a post about the rules tomorrow.

    MtG player here, not a fan of competition but Drafts and special rules like Hydra, Archenemy or planechase are really fun.

    For those who have difficulties to find player nearby, try looking to http://www.magicworkstation.com/ it works well to play online.

    I built myself a brand new MTG deck today. It's modern, black/blue control deck. Although technically it's legacy because of one card. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to just take it out and place myself firmly in modern, or keep it in. It's a good card ;_;

    Does anyone know the proper name for this board game. Its played with marbles on a wooden game board with holes drilled in it.
    The objective of the game is to get your 4 marbles into your vertical center lane

    I'd have thought that but you made it rectangular, not triangular, so my brain went "bwuh?"

    Take a picture of it! I'm all sorts of curious now.

    @Misskin - That looks almost like someone made it and then designed a game around it. I've honestly never seen that kind of game before in any form...I mean, if you know how it's played you'd think you'd know the name of the game too.
    @DameKathryn - What's the card? I like Blue/Black.

    well that's the thing, my dad brought it in from who knows where maaaany moons ago when I was like 12. Back then he said it was called Pinwheel, but then after all these years have passed, he came home saying that he found some guys at work playing it, but they called it Brother Trouble. so I have no idea what its really called and where it came from.....i'll ask him tomorrow and see whats up

    Thank you, that's a jillion layers of acrylic paint applied with sponge brushes. Though I really wish I had thought to by some paint sealer so water won't bother it

    It's a counterspell with a splash of damage and an awesome line of flavor text. I'd only toss that under the strict circumstances of mana curve or legality in playing at FNM or somesuch. Otherwise I'd run a card like that every time.
