Yeah, I'm planning on side-boarding it because it IS technically legacy. So I'd sideboard it in (taking out Cancel) against legacy decks, and otherwise stick to modern. This is the conclusion I've come to today.
    Here's the whole deck: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/11-08-14-blueblack-counter/
It's a bit weird, but the whole point isn't to mill them out but to get as much as possible creature-wise into their graveyard to boost the 6 creatures I have that have benefits related to it, as well as delaying until I can get those creatures out.

I've play-tested against Kranix and it works quite well :)

@DameKathryn - Interesting. Blizzard Specter is a card I could throw into my EDH schemes.

I run a white deck that kills in 3 turns if it gets the right cards. Cruel Edict is a counter to it...but you'd have to have one and it's likely. That notwithstanding, that's pretty good. Wights and cheap mill with flashback, plenty of counterspells and removal to buy the time you need...the only thing I could think to add to that deck are a few Trepanation Blades. Vault Skirge could make good use of it, or Vampire Nighthawk, supplementing their flying/lifelink status with some extra oomph and mill.

OOH. Trepanation Blade is a good card for this deck. *ponders*

Trep Blades and an Invisible Stalker. It's absurd how powerful that mill is alone. Transmutation makes it way too easy to pull off. In our groups, that B/U mill deck is unbelievable in how dickish it gets and how fast it works. But again, Cruel Edict is the hard counter to that little hexproof problem (and in the case of white, protection from X).

Last time someone made that, he wound up getting uppercutted and one-shotted by the Ogre-killing barbarian. Poor Ambrose, we hardly knew ye.

I'm sure I've mentioned how hyped I am to play Dead Of Winter. It was ordered (as an Xmas gift) on November 11th and still hasn't reached 'Murica yet, but I went ahead and practised making a foam board insert for the many many items in the box. Since getting into table top gaming ive noticed that I really hate having mixed up tokens, loose dice, and separating card decks.

My first attempt was a horrid gluey mess, but the second one is a winner. This game is called Munchkins

I left empty space at the top just in case I buy some of the expansion decks

Some? SOME expansion decks? Dear god, there's like a billion of them at this point, you'll need a trunk for your trunk if you fall deep into the Munchkin hole.

    Otherwise good job!

Smell it, let the scent of unmolested game musk envelop you, then, when you've lulled it into a false sense of security SLAM IT ONTO THE THE TABLE AND LET EVERYONE TAKE TURNS ON IT!
