We all love toys right? Otherwise we wouldn't be here. Gorgeous and unique toys, the ability to fully customize said toys, great customer service, an awesome community... But there's one thing that vexes all customers.
That's right, it's Toy Waiting Syndrome! They're a small company and much of that time is devoted to producing only the best of merchandise. But it doesn't change the fact that so many of us bounce in anticipation from the moment we decide to get a new toy to the first opening of the box when it arrives.
The stages of Toy Dragon Waiting Syndrome are as follows:
1) Deciding on a toy.
2) Collecting funds for said toy.
3) Figuring out the features and deciding if you're really sure it's what you want, and perhaps ticketing for information or special requests.
(steps 1 through 3 are largely interchangeable)
4) Placing the order.
5) Checking 10 times a day while it's in the "Processed" stage.
6) Checking the mail every time you pass the front door once it's shipped (or doing the same online if your package is trackable).
6.5) Despair and/or rage if shipment is delayed.
7) Initial release of tension - your toy is on your front step!
The final three might not happen right away after stage 7:
8) Unpacking. Second build of tension. "Oh boy oh boy oh boy...!!!"
9) Minor release of tension, possibly followed by more building - you can now see your toy in all its glory.
9.5) Uh-oh! Something's wrong! Time to send a ticket! D:
10) Final release of tension. You know why.
