Haha, my mom is the same way, Ajax. :'D Only she doesn't throw parties. She's just an obnoxious 56 year old woman who thinks she can drink and be retarded like your average 16-20 year old. It's gross and I absolutely hate it.

I'm good though! Trying to chill and relax, though it's sorta hard. I need a massage on my shoulders too, as they're pretty sore and stiff! My shoulders feel like rocks, and that can't be too healthy. :I

And Katsu won the honour of "highest score ever bowled at WFS" yesterday with only a 204. XD

 

Sounds like our moms would get along. She usually just drinks at home with my step dad, but they threw a party last night because it was his bday. -_- They're full blown alcoholics so it's nothing new, though it doesn't make it any less obnoxious.
Ouch. D: Maybe take a warm shower? If you have the kind of shower head that you can turn onto the... idk, hardcore jet setting(?lol), it might kind of be able to loosen the tension in your shoulders?

 

Yeah. :I My mom is a raging alcoholic while my dad leads a simple life as a trucker, but unfortunately works his ass off. She doesn't have a job because she thinks she's worked hard enough all her life (I guess if you can say helping some mentally impaired/handicapped people put parts together at a factory-like place, being a waitress and doing other various jobs working as a helper for mentally challenged people then she sure has worked hard all her life). She refuses to get a job because "she shouldn't have to work anymore." So, my dad busts his ass to pay for her alcohol addiction and for her other stupid habits. That, and we all thing she is severely bi-polar and has a bit of... psychosis. She is paranoid about EVERYTHING (like us going behind her back and talking about her and even taking advantage of her like ?????). She pulled an embarrassing episode on my boyfriend yesterday on his last day here. I'm glad he's gone in the sense he doesn't have to deal with her crazy ass anymore. She pisses me off. She always lies about her drinking, too. The other night she was at the bar for 9 HOURS, TOTALLY WASTED OFF HER ASS and had to have some random guy give her a ride home. >_>

But I've tried warm showers, I've tried things like BioFreeze and TigerBalm, massages... NOTHING WORKS ON MY ROCK SHOULDERS. ; ;

 

Professional massages even? I know they can be expensive, but if you have a massage school nearby, that'd be a good place to check since the students need to actually practice. I did that earlier this year, $30 for an hour long session. My back was like a rock, both from working Haunt and years of stress built up. The massage really helped, it wasn't 100%, but it was much better.

 

Aw man, that is really rough. That sucks that your dad has to put up with it and support her habit while he works. =/ Not cool. And your poor bf! D: It's always awkward for me when I have friends over or something and my mom is being a drunken idiot at them. >.< I'm glad that my mom and step-dad at least don't (usually) let it get in the way of their work. My step-dad is self employed though, so if he's super hungover he doesn't typically make himself do anything that day even if it is during the week. My mom occasionally will call off of work if she has too much of a hangover and didn't put herself to bed at a decent time. -_- They drink a lot though. So I hear you and I feel the frustration you must deal with as well. It's quite annoying that nothing you say matters because all they want to do is drink. I wish they could just go out and have a couple, have fun talking with friends, and then come home like responsible adults. Instead they stay out/stay up late, invite random people over, drive drunk, or call me up at 2am. There are alcoholics everywhere, sure, but Wisconsin sure does seem to have a lot of them. As great as the state is, drinking being a major hobby around here is one of the biggest downfalls.

In other news... I'm bored. Nothing going on today and nobody has really been around online either.

 

huh, sounds a lot like my aunt, she's an alcoholic and ironically my uncle is a delivery truck driver for an alcohol distributor

So, I don't know if any of you have heard of FurCast, but Fayroe just basically made me CoHost of the show now along with him and Paradox. It's every saturday, starting at 8, and it's always a great time! I'll post a reminder on here next week for it. (this week we cancelled cos we have some new plans in the works!)

Man that does suck. D: I'm sorry Ajax. It's a really shitty position to be in. Anytime I try to tell my mom that she needs to stop drinking so much and actually find a job, she freaks out on me. Or when my dad asks if she's been drinking during the week while he's gone and I tell him yes and he talks to her about it, she yells at me for ratting her out.

That is pretty ironic though, Scalie! Also, congrats Vitani! That is so awesome! I hope you enjoy the position, though I don't see why ya wouldn't. :3c It sounds like a grand time, and I'll tune in for it next week!

In other news: I also have a headache, but that's because I overslept. It is also raining which is calming the pain. Went from a power drill digging into my head to a soft thud, like a foam bat.
