Great to see you met your goal @Zaphora !

    For anyone from Germany:
If your BMI is over 50 you don't have to meet any prerequisites for getting a bariatric surgery.
I did it when I was 21 (1 year ago) and so far lost 50kg (started with 150kg). Also helped with my depression A LOT!
If you want more information don't hesitate to PM me!

About 2 1/2 years ago (around October 2016) I began my journey to weight loss. I weighed in at 290lbs. at my worst (Shirt Size XXL Pants Size 44). My first year I drank water by body weight (I believe for every pound you weigh drink 2/3 of an ounce of water) and stopped eating when I was either bored or stressed (I love peanut butter). Pretty much eating only when hungry and eating food that was better for me. Then, in October 2018 I weighed in around 240lbs. I then decided to take working out more seriously. I started running a trail every other day on the edge of town that in one lap of it from where I started my run was about 3.4 miles long followed by 1 hour of High Interval Intensity Training from darebee.com with free weights (10lbs., 15lbs, and 20lbs.). I started taking protein powder, creatine powder, and nitric oxide pills. Now I am 215lbs. (Shirt Size L and Pants Size 36) and I'm going to need new clothes again soon. My best is yet to come! Thanks for reading!

I recently started my weight loss meal plan. I haven't started exercising yet, but I have been eating soups, smart one meals, drinking and eating more vegetables, and fruit.
    I am 240 lbs at a height of 5'7".
My goal is to be 160lbs by my next birthday, March 2, 2020.

Just stick to cutting out half of what you eat...try not to have sugar or processed foods...

I don't eat breakfast and sometimes lunch

Im really glad i found this thread. And as far as ive seen, there isnt really much unhealthy thinking like fat/body shaming or "thinsporation", which im really happy for. I currently weigh 304 lbs and have been trying to lose weight. Now, im naturally a big person. I always were. Growing up i usually used to be the biggest kid in class, and even my mother said ever since i learned how to eat solid food as a baby i had a pretty big appetite. Though despite this, and my natural curves, the number 304 scares me. A lot. I dont want to get any bigger. I have issues with my blood pressure, it's not dangerously high though it's still elevated. Plus im lucky enough to still be in the 'low risk' category for type 2 diabetes (i had blood work done at the end of last month and it came back fine). I honestly want to stay in that category. My cholesterol, liver, kidney, and thyroid functions are all still relatively healthy and again, i want to keep it this way. I know why im so big, it's because i eat out of boredom. And i know this to be true because in times when food was scarce (i live in a pretty low income household), and i focused on other things, i managed to loose a bit of weight. Lately for these past few months, ive been taking daily walks and doing other simple exercises like push ups and squats for about 30 minutes a day for five days a week. That's about 150 minutes of activity a week, which ive been told is ideal. My doctor said as long as i keep a healthy diet and get regular exercise like ive been doing then i should shed off pounds. Does anyone have any advice for meal plans or exercise routines? Ive also been consuming two green tea pills a day to help boost my metabolism (which ive had issues with in the past). Is green tea really good for this or should i just throw out the idea? Thanks!
