I'll have my paycheck latest at Friday. I wonder what to buy for myself - if there will be any cash left :x I though of the most basic graphic tablet or a webcam, both seem doable. But on the other side, I kinda don't want those weird questions my mum asks "what is it?" "what do you use it for?". Having almost 0 privacy on the PC in my own home kinda sucks.

I'm going to run off to bed, I think. I have a Baytex safety meeting tomorrow at 6am and then a fall arrest course at 8. Still waiting on the Husky safety meeting. I showed up at 6am in the middle of last week for it, but it was rescheduled. Sometime this week, I still have to go on a road trip and work on a turnaround for... I'm not sure actually. I'm not sure if it's a pad well or a battery or what, but there are apparently lots of tanks and pipes and I'll need my fall arrest for it. Should be fun for the whole family!

In other news, time to get to work on that English paper in which I have to write a eulogy about myself. :'D Man, it brings back horrible memories of having to stand up in a church to read a eulogy for my deceased, 20 year old cousin. I am cry now.

 

Maybe put some away for a laptop. Also I built my first pc by buying it piece by piece. Buy a part or two with each paycheck.

 

I'm trying to come up with the colour scheme for my fursona... I'm trying to be original and a lot of my stuff is taken already, so I'm trying as hard as I can to mix hings up and still make a dragon look reasonable. Harder than it sounds

 

*sigh* it probably isn't. I'm really still just an inexpirenced woman when it comes to long term relationships, which I hope this one to be. When I feel down, and don't want to burdern the bf, I look to those few of you whom I can confide in. But sometimes I word my thoughts to the bf, and he doesn't need to hear me wanting more time to talk to him, he doesn't need me to worry. He just needs me to be here, the normalacy in a stressful, high-risk situation. That'swill be tthat way for the next 9 months.

 

Sorry for double post but this is the forest time I've expirenced something like this. Its been hard, and it hasn't even been a month yet. But its felt like years. I have a minor support system but I feel like I need to seek professional help, too. Get a professional opinion . I will admit I don't have any idea what he has to go through, and I wish I could understand. I wish he could explain to me. Nif I could understand, this would make it easier for me and for him. *hides face in hands*

I actually crashed at around 3:30, and just got up half an hour ago, so maybe I feel so tired because I overslept. ._.

 

Hum. I was gonna suggest that maybe y'all overslept. :< But dang you slept longer than I! I woke up at 10:30 after going to bed at 2 am. Last night was fun though! @u@ I wanna play some more later, if possible.

 

Yeah, we can play later, gotta see what I have to get done today first tho.

A professional's not a bad idea. Everyone needs someone to talk to who'll help them through the rough parts. I'm actually looking for a counsellor right now, mostly because I have a lot of fuckedupedness about my age and my career and what to do now that I'm looking down the barrel of empty-nest syndrome. Which is completely at the other end of life from where most people here are, and I understand that.

But what is it you don't think you understand? Can you put any of it into words?

And why do you say he doesn't need to hear it? Part of the point of being a friend or lover is to just listen. To have the ears to hear, and be a sounding board. Some guys take a long time to learn that they're not supposed to try and "fix" the problem; it's good enough if they'll just listen.
