I remember something about how you're a student... Most all campuses've got some kind of therapists nowadays. Something you could look up? A number to call tomorrow?

This is your evolved-stage Pokemon talking! If this is a chemical-balance-related depression, and you're both speaking in the all-or-nothing terms I know I used to speak with, there is *so much* in between when those shit goggles wrap themselves onto your face and color your worldview all to hell that is out there that depression doesn't let you see while it's flaring up. If you need a crisis hotline number, I can Google some for either/both of you-- or if this is another one of those bumps in the road that seem to go on forever, just know that life isn't always going to be shit. Even if it's just putting one foot in front of the other, going through the motions, at the moment, that's not all there is to life. I remember *knowing* back then that nothing would change. And WOW did I not have any idea, while my endorphin receptors were all messed up.

Like I said. If you want me to look up therapists in your area and the like, PM me, I'll see what I can do. It doesn't have to always suck. It's just really, really good at tricking you to think it will.

just duct tape them to a wall :p but that would be "unethical" and "inhumane behavior" *roll eyes* I think all flights should be outfitted with sound proof pods or infant muzzles for those extremely unruly little fucks that scream their heads off the entire flight

Some of my aviation mechanic friends and I talked about this.

We joked about putting them in the "hell hole" of the plane. Its basically this very cramped compartment normally on the back underside of the plane that you can barely stand in if the plane is close to the ground. There, they can complain all they want. No one is going to hear them though.

Bleah. Just got off work and, good grief, where did some of these people learn to code? The fucking dark ages? Guys, guys, it's the 21st century. You can use pub/sub hubs now. Really. And you can put whatever signal you want through them. Really. You don't have to do this 1990s Javascript bullshit anymore. We have these things, they're called functions and reactions and... Sigh. What it is about object oriented programming that completely distorts the minds of those who indulge in it?

Also, I've gained a pound. Time for a diet. Must resist all desserts and be conscious of the potential for extinction bursts. Because that's the thing that always fucks me up.

On the other hand, Menage a Trois's new wine "Midnight Dark Red," is really, really fucking tasty. Like, jammy and rich and very syrupy, fabulous mouthfeel. Nummy. I love making chicken soup. I love cooking with wine. No, there's no wine in the soup; just wine in the cook.

Awesome! And ask them for tools. Really. It's better to be able to handle tomorrow before you try to understand yesterday.

I always complain (even if it's just to myself) that I'm constantly bored, but then I get home from work and sit in front of my computer and hit refresh a bunch. This is why I feel so uninteresting all the time. ._. Not to say that anyone here is bad company, but I'm just not really doing anything with my life at the moment.

I sorta agree with that, Guy. If there is an unruly passenger and they're not being totally wack about it, I think they should just be restrained and put in the back of the plane. However, if there was someone being creepy with threats or just saying generally weird shit, I think the flight should maybe be diverted.

If a flight is diverted in the case of what happened a few weeks ago... Yeah, no. You get mad over some guy using a Knee Defender so you splash water in his face? Not a valid reason to divert a whole flight. At all.

I can relate to that a lot, but at the same time I look at my overall situation and kinda get my perspective back that I am progressing forward and accomplishing shit. I'll have days where I'll just be like "what the fuck have I done all day," and can't really think of anything until a day or two later, when I'm like "oh yeah, I got done putting down new tiling around the pool" or "I worked on my web design portfolio a bit" etc. etc. So, I dunno, keep your head up, and if you feel like you need to do something, well then find something to do, you know?

Yeah. Lately it's just felt like eat, sleep, work. Eat, sleep, work. Eat, sleep, work. Added bonus: on Sunday, I'm heading three hours south of here to do just that. They didn't butter it up at all. I'm heading down to live in a hotel and work a week straight of twelve hour days for a turnaround. At least some co-workers are coming too.

Screw it. I'm going to bed. I think I'm just feeling burnt out from being up for so long. I've been awake for 18 hours now. I didn't even think about what time it was and now it's 11. Tomorrow, I get to do it all again... only that tomorrow I can manage sleeping in until 6 to be at work be 6:45 instead of hauling my ass out of bed at 5 for a meeting at 6. After four years of working in the oilfield/oilfield related industry, I still hate early mornings.

Tomorrow'll be a better day. I just need some motivation to finish the last few dishes and cook something proper for supper. Ninight, everyone. c:

Exeter and Creative are now draining my excitement/apprehension on starting to look for jobs in the market. Yup, I'm gonna do some bullshit stuff instead of those crap jobs. Like, I dunno, dance in a club, or being a barista for Starbucks or something. And I'll be in college. So yeah. Art, partying, classes, and being a single fuck until someone takes more serious interest in me. XD
