This weekend I want to finally see Guardians of the Galaxy and TMNT. It's going to happen dammit! I might even have someone to go with me.

<(o3o<) Exeter... is actually making me happy. I. Just... *loves all over*

 

I saw both of them Tuesday, Guardians of the Galaxy was very good, but I wasn't too thrilled with TMNT. I thought the characters looked a bit too ugly, especially Splinter.

 

I hated TMNT. I haven't been that pissed off at a movie in a very long time.

 

@Eloe Elwe I'll be honest: I kind of like that the turtles are ugly. I don't know why, exactly. It doesn't necessarily make them more realistic or anything....Who knows!

@doit666 Hmm I've heard a few people express disappointment in the movie...I still want to go see it though. What ticked you off about it? Err! Wait, if the answer is in any way a spoiler, I'll just have to wait to hear what you have to say!

 

The movie I hated above all others was Tranformers 2. I was so fucking mad I had my arms crossed in disgust the whole time, and kept quoting Yu-gi-oh! The Abridged Series, saying "Meanwhile, back at the plot!"

I tried to restrain myself during Transformers 3 (I bought it for my stepfather as an apology for an explosive argument we had about Michael Bay films as being impossible to qualify as art.) but I still found myself shouting "How the fuck does he know English?" When they awoke Sentinal Prime after recovering him. He was on the moon all those centuries. Why the fuck did he suddenly speak English? The other transformers had to learn it from the internet, which is why they were all racist stereotypes (That's cannon I think.)

 

Disappointment? No, this was full blown nerd rage. Probably stems from how different it was from the original movie. The whole time I was thinking "no, that's just WRONG" and when they made references to the older stuff it pissed me off more cause then I though "SO YOU KNOW HOW IT WAS AND YOU FUCKED IT UP FOR NO REASON"

 

I completely turned my brain off during Transformers 2. when I turned it back on, I found plot holes EVERYWHERE. Haven't bothered with any past that.

 

I liked TMNT. Definatly getting the DVD.

In other news, Crackers is in my town. They better put him in my PO Box tomorrow or I will rage

 

Loving this intensity about Transformers. I liked the graphics, story/plot failed horridly though.
