Not a sale post but figure everyone should know....
I purchased a lot of 7 toys from Foxyfloof and i haven't received the items...it has been since the 1st they were shipped to me. I was informed that it was okay and that i was still getting the items. So i waited i messaged this person asking if I could get a tracking number after being informed that shipping was 80$ for everything....yet i didn't get a fucking answer....not a word....is there a way i can fix this?
I saved 500 dollars and this guy just stole it..

I did make a mistake here yes but does anyone have an idea of how i can fix this? Or any advice? Thanks

I used friends and family by accident

As there is no buyer protection for friends and family there is nothing you can dispute, however you can file a fraud claim with your bank.

You just have to call your bank and there is an option to press ## for fraud department or you ask the automated voice. Then tell them that you got scammed via paypal /w friends and family.

Yeah I was suspicious when I saw them say they insisted on selling it as a bulk as if it had to be right away and in one sale and then said they would put the whole lot on hold for 2 months. Also they're probably going to close this or move it to a different folder pretty quick.

Yikes. I had a bad feeling on that post with how adamant OP was.

This kinda shit is why Bad Dragon said fuck it and closed their forums :/ I hope this isn't gonna become the norm here and it closes down cause the mods can't put up with this being a constant thing.

Damn, that sucks! Can't believe they waited it out all that time while you were saving up; wouldn't think a scammer would be that patient. It does make we wonder if they sold them somewhere else or if they just never had any intention of selling them. Sorry to hear it, OP. I hope your bank will do a chargeback to get your money back.

    Sorry to hear that :(
Is there any chance they could have been in an accident? Or something serious came up?
Or does t really seem like they scammed you?
That’s a lot of money! So sorry mate

As someone on the other side of the transaction, I had an experience where a "buyer" promised they'd pay me after I shipped an item, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt right up until it was delivered, but decided to have it recalled when it reached the last leg of the journey and I hadn't seen payment. Then the "buyer" had the nerve to call me a colorful litany of names for not trusting them when they realized I'd recalled it.

Hopefully you can have your bank sort it out, and definitely always use protection in the future.

And this is why you never use friends and family on Paypal.
Really sorry this happened to you, I'd love to say that trusting people should be the norm, but sadly it's not.
Especially with amounts of money like this, always use G&S or have them send you a Paypal Invoice, if they insist on F&F, back out of the deal right there.
Even with G&S/Invoice, insist on a tracking number, usually sellers will send it to you as soon as they ship the package without even having to ask.

I really hope your bank can help you get your money back.

And now they are claiming that they've been out of state caring for their mother. @RK200 did they mention this to you at any time in the past, or did they claim to have already shipped?

Edit: OP has updated the original thread to report they are in contact with the seller and dealing with the matter privately. Of course it's none of my business, so I just wish them the best in resolving the issue.

i would explain to paypal/bank/whatever was used to transact - if the seller can’t provide tracking then surely you’d be refunded? i’d hope so anyway, best of luck man
