    My partner is snacking right in front of me. Not just like one snack, no, he has to take four fucking snacks. Then he tells me that I should just eat something healthy because I want to lose weight.
    I'm just gonna sit in the kitchen, angrily drinking beer.

    Just like any state lottery.

    Players pay for their tickets through PayPal. If they win, the funds are sent to their PayPal account. 10% of the pot stays to help build the pot more and more.

    @GuyStripes , Paypal has some pretty strict rules against lotteries/paid raffles and the like. Whatever it is you're doing, I recommend against it.

    I was being facetious, but I sure do wish it were that simple.

    I think at this point it might be best to just set up a donation thread or something like it. People could post their wishlists and how much it would cost along with their PayPal email, and people can send money towards it if they want.

    Otherwise I think it might be difficult to implement while obeying all the rules.

    @GuyStripes Sorry man. Better to know sooner rather than later, I suppose.

    That's what the Christmas in July idea was going to be. I just wanted to wait till, y'know, July or early next year before starting it.

    I can make that thread quick though while I work to maybe get approval from PayPal.

    @ObeyTheSnarf : No problem. This is why I wanted to publicly discuss it. Iron out any details and find potential problems. Thanks for the heads up by the way.

    Isn't Paypal strongly against using them for adult product purchases anyways?

    In general it seems so, but BD also accepts payment through them so it's confusing. I think PayPal gets more annoyed with FA-related stuff than other stuff. It's also possible that they just dislike non-company adult purchases.

    Again, I don't know they seem contradictory.

    Yeah, I remember someone mentioning in their sale thread that they should never, ever mention in PayPal notes that the money was for buying sex toys because PayPal was really against adult purchases and would possibly ban people for it. If you're gonna do donations, just put your username in the notes if you need an identifier as long as it's safe for work.

    @GuyStripes Sure thing.

    @Blinding BD offers Paypal as a payment option, so I'm guessing they've arranged an exception directly with the company.
