I know this subject is generally frowned upon, but with BD no longer doing warranties on their toys (not sure about other sellers) I figured why not.
    Please only post tutorials if:
    1) They are relatively safe
    2) Have clear, step by step instructions (bonus if with pics)
    3) List any and all problems you may have had
    4) List tools/materials used
    5) etc

Does anyone know a really good way to make a suction cup on BD toys?

It is my understanding that there is no pretty way to do it. You basically need to carve a rounded shape on the center of the weighty part (like wherever it is on the base where the weight is relegated centered)
Carving it won't look nice though. Homemade suction cups never look nice

That's the thing, the edges look like crap on it when it's home done. Usually it's with a smooth blade like a pocket knife.

The right size grinding bit should work

I'm workin on an idea to craft sort of one using layers of sheet rubber traced to the base of the toy, and have a hole cut out in the middle of the rubber. Somewhat of a suction cup base extension.
Stuff's a little busy right now though with other projects, but I'll certainly make a tutorial once I get it perfected~

Any pics of tubes being pulled/cut and the holes being filled? Directions to do so?

I would not try to use one of those on silicone. carbide burrs work great for hard materials, soft materials like rubber, silicone, soft plastic, etc. don't carve well. unless a suction cup is cast into the toy when it's first made there's no way to add one where it isn't going to have weird edges on it. if you really REALLY want to try it with a carving bit you could try cooling the silicone down with dry ice or liquid nitrogen if you somehow miraculously have a source for it so that it can be somewhat carved, either way the results probably won't look good

can try freezing it prior to grinding it, this may provide a more tooling friendly firmness. can also utilize an inverted can of air for the liquid propellant (after it's already been in the freezer) . due to the nature of low shore valued silicones I would disregard a cutting tool like a router or burr and instead use a grinding or high speed sanding disc. 3M has a wondering selection of "Rolocs" that we use to shape rubber blocks for aerospace uses.

For soft toys run a metal skewer through it from the top, attach a silicone tube to the skewer once its through the pull it back out the way you put it in.
For something firm, long drill bits do the job.

What discs could I find exactly and where? What type of propellant would I use and where could I find it?

Basically, I'm just looking to file down Sleipnir's head since he's a bit too big, the rest of him is perfect tho. Suggestions welcome!

For a Suction cup, it would just be easier to buy one from lust arts. They have quite a few different ones with different sizes and colors, whatnot.

I'f your looking to change the shape of the usable portion of the toy, I would not recommend that. You will NEVER get the same finish and you may leave pores that can harbor bacteria. If you were to attempt that, it would be a much longer process than you want lol. You would need to remove additional amounts of the material in the area to modify, then dip it in molding wax, re shape it, make a mold, and pour more platinum cured silicone on it to give it a safe, attractive appearance. otherwise if would feel like it's made from gravel.

Grinding or drilling into a squishy toy would probably be a nightmare.

When Bad Dragon needs to remove excess material, I'm pretty sure they use sharp cutting tools.

I think most people are better off selling toys they don't really like, and buying the exact toy they want, even if it has to be custom made.
