buttered chicken is really more of a curry dish, you do brown some spices in butter to make it. otherwise it's a sauce made of spices, tomatoes, cream or yogurt. it's really good. I like to add carrot, potato and onion in mine

Chicken Makhani is really good. That's what Kranix usually orders when we go out for Indian. There's a vegetarian Indian place near where I work that has really really good Paneer Makhani. I also really like Paneer Matar. I always get my Indian with Aloo Naan.
