Totes put in a bid on a 7" figure for now. I don't generally buy these things, but in certain cases (like my foot tall talking Sauron figure) I just have to have it.

Good gods, that's amazing. That's like the totally unbelievable "Scrawny little Tim Curry can do two different kinds of sexy" unbelievable. And all before the invention of CGI. That was like, makeup and acting. So. Much. Acting. Shatnerian levels of acting.

 

Wäääh, I don't like waking up when it's almost as dark out as it was when I went to sleep the day before. At least there's a pretty mist outside. *-*

Legend and Labyrinth are pretty much tied for my favorite movie. I have an undying love for both of them. Legend, though... my god! The costuming, makeup, and sets just blow me away, and of course Tim Curry's acting is just perfect. There needs to be more movies like that in the world.

 

Why this forum has to ramp up just when I have to leave for work D:

I have seen the mystics play there, once or twice, but I knew they had a reason. Enchantment plays its cards all right. Hand in hand with the working of the seasons. True that on so many levels. I LOVE Legend and it was a huge part of me when I was younger, and I know my boyfriend isn't really into fantasy unless it's like.... I don't even know. He's not a huge LOTR or Hobbit fan or anything. He's really only into sci-fi, and loves things like Star Wars and Alien. :c I mean both are great! Do not get me wrong. But there are so many movies he's missed out on because of his dislike for fantasy. I guess I'm just a nerd who has always held a special place in my heart for the things that are just... Unreal.

I love fantasy and anything magical. I know it's preposterous to believe in such stuff, but the magic that's obviously not real makes me feel that the magic is real in me as a happiness and a whole world of imagination and creativity. Sure we can't have fire breathing dragons and demons and orcs like a lot of fantasy stuff, but I think it's so much fun to pretend! That's why I love going to the Renaissance. You get to see so much interesting and magical things! My boyfriend enjoys it, because he likes the Renaissance era, but for me it's so much more than just an era in time. ; ;'

ANYWHO. I love Legend because unicorns always were important to me. I grew up with horses, and horses and unicorns were like that omg so awesome I, like any other little girl, want all the unicorns and pegasuses. I was literally terrified of Darkness when I was a girl. XD But now I realize how studly he is. c: Tim Curry looks amazing as Darkness, and did such a good job acting in that movie!

 

Jury duty in four and a half hours, and I can't get back to sleep.

Hopefully the civil case goes by quick.

 

I left my house for 15 minutes, to go to the store across the street, and OF COURSE at that exact time, the fedex guy comes around and puts a note in my mailbox I wasn't home... I called, and he'll try to come by my house again today. I want my toys!

In good news: I've lost 5 lbs!

In nervous uncertain news: I acquire my tattoo tomorrow. Uncertain as it doesn't look like I have a lot of money, as I only sold one toy so far. And don't want my parents bitching at me about my money when I actually saved up for this >.>
