*completely unreleated note* How do I get rid of that "new member" status? I'm not so new after all, or so I think ^^

 

My best guess is keep posting. It doesn't seem to matter when you signed up, it's more how active you are.

 

I think it's by post count?

 

Post count would make sense, I suppose. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

You all make valid points. At the end of the day, to me, personally, an authority or business punishing its constituents or followers for acting in a way they deem nonconstructive or disruptive doesn't describe an act of abuse. Even if there were issues relating to treatment of individuals, this event doesn't make us victims in and of itself, I feel. They don't need to be free of sin in order to have a perfectly valid reason for feeling the forums weren't being used right. I'm just arguing that maybe it is actually the case that some of the community was so bad that it almost cost us the forum. I don't know who or how, but I just don't feel that we should be throwing around the words victim and abuse, neither of which seem right to me.

 

Like everyone else has said, just keep posting, there's a link that shows what types of achievements you get for posting.

@Kira: Most, no. I do recognize a lot that did though. Audax and I use to joke about the "Old Guard", or the members that were there when her and I were members of BD.

 

I know I'm thinking, Why the hell didn't I go to bed sooner?! Funny though how sometimes getting only 4 hrs leaves me more functional than 6 or 7 hrs (which you have to admit ain't half bad).

 

Wow. I went to bed last night and I wake up to an entirely new forum. That and I slept in a little bit too long because I enjoyed too many Mike's last night.

The forum looks great!! I am so glad we no longer have the Time's font. No more gross smileys! :3c
