Another day starting off terribly. :I That and again, I got 12 hours of sleep and I was still tired. Now I seem fine though? HURRAH.

I don't even know what to make for breakfast. :C How to food?

I bought a new phone! The Moto G (not the newest version, because I liked the size of the "old" one better, but this one does have 4G). It's so smooth and quick compared to my old phone

 

But it's still early morning for me. :'D I'm making pasta now, though. I don't usually wake up until 10-12 so.

Well, I'd say if you have the capacity not to take it, and have other prospects you'd jump at, it's respectful to the company and the other applicants to pass on the job. Since you can manage until you find another job, you have the option of doing so. You'll get a bad reputation if you job-hop, as well. If you'd like to balance it out, apply for even more jobs.

Alternatively, ask if they have a similar position open with better hours. Better pay comes over time, and if, like you said, you're fine for money, pay shouldn't really be a huge priority for you.

I'm officially a basket case.

Well, sort-of. I kinda knew that my Type-1 ADHD was getting the better of me recently, fueled by the onset of two-year blues, various home and professional stresses, and a generalized mixture of things. So I did something I haven't done in a few years and looked up a therapist. I wanted one who could handle me, which is pretty hard, but I found one who's clientele is (her words) "poly, pink, and leather," which is me all the way through, so...

We clicked, and as we talked we discussed my heavy caffeine and heavy metal addictions, and she said, "Those are both ADHD symptoms, you know. Self-medicating with stimulants and drowning out the static." Huh. I knew about the caffeine, but not about the music.

As I was leaving, I was rummaging through my daybag for my checkbook. "That feels like it... nope, those are my reading glasses." She mentioned that at my age I should have had those for a while. I tapped the pair I was wearing. "Progessives, so I can read and drive. I'm really picky about my prescription. Drives my optometrist nuts trying to find exactly the right setting."

She paused for a second. "Have you ever been tested for anything else on the spectrum? Because being 'picky' with your vision prescription is very common with sensory processing disorder."

So it looks like I'll be getting an MD for a full-on head examination to find out just how bad my ADHD is, and maybe I have sensory processing disorder, and maybe I have some kind of aspergers (Sp?). I really don't want to find out the last; I really don't need that label.

 

Glad to be back with my Toothless tonight. Weird to say but I had a hard time sleeping without him last night.

 

I have the same thing with my plush animals of choice (a fox these days; before it was a killer whale). I even take them along when I sleep somewhere else for the night.
