What Is On Your Mind?

So i now apparently have to find a costume for a Halloween party my friend is dragging me to lol...and I'm broke....Hello walmart costume lmao....although despite being chubby i think i want a sexier costume...If i can find it in my size I'm thinking i want to find a sexy alice in wonderland and add on cat ears and tail...maybe lol

 

This semester, I finally have to use reading week for it's intended purpose x3 I have a lot of stuff I need to prepare for/finish up, and a good solid week of work is exactly what I need. Hopefully I don't get too distracted. Day one wasn't as good as I had hoped, but hey, I am prepared for tomorrow now.

In more enjoyable news, I got back from a lovely family get together yesterday. We had a catered meal and everything. :3

 

It baffles me how people assume that because someone is famous, well known or popular on the internet that they are a perfect human being who will always do and say the right things.

I just read a post (on tumblr of course) heavily criticizing Andrew Hussie. Yes I am a fan of his, a sensible one I like to think.
The guy was just having a casual conversation with a friend on Twitter, when Andrew asked him if he was "on the spectrum"
which I can only guess is a slang term for mental irregularity (I think autism?) and the guy replied with a yes (but it was in a joking manner so I can't verify it) and Andrew replied with "if the spectrum was colors, I'd be a bag of Skittles"
Immediately I see all these posts about Andrew being "human garbage" and just all kinds of insults and I'm like WTF?

I dare anybody and I mean AAANYbody to stand up and say they have never made an off color joke (that's right, none of you can). People do it literally all the time, everyday, all day, but when someone "famous" does it, theres riots in the streets. Its like you get a little bit of celebrity status and you're suddenly not allowed to act like an average person anymore, you have to be an idol, a paragon.

 

I hate to say it but most of the people that start on shit like that are stupid younger teens that think they know everything (not all of them i know this lol )...like when Pewdiepie showed his internet history by accident and it had porn in it sooooo many people went off on tumblr...and most of them yet again....were the younger and mid teens....i love tumblr but this is the down side of it...people that do things like this.

stupid immature things like that are what made me get that tumblr blacklist and i unfollow someone for even the tiniest things....but its the people on tumblr that fight battles the wrong way(as i like to say) that a lot of times ruin it for the people that are fighting things right. Seen it to many times on tumblr...now its venturing on my facebook....facebook blacklist needs to happen lol


and as you said....idc what anyone claims...every person makes an off color joke once in a while......to me if you are that easily offended to start bashing someone on the internet for one thing....then you don't need to be on the internet

IKR lmao and at such a cheap price for a headboard i couldn't resist lmao especially considering in the stores around here almost all the Headboards I found with shelves like that were over 400$ lol....grant it I dont have a job and that money was pushing it...i think it was worth it ^^

I think I've been spending too much time with my cats. I'm writing a story about werewolves, and I keep wanting to make them lash their tails when their irritated. Canines don't do that, do they?

When I was a kid, my mother once found all my plastic horse toys with their tails rotated upwards, and she was a bit confused about why I had put them all in a, er, pooping posture. Naw, 6-year-old me just thought that's what all animals did with their tails when they're happy.

Generally, in my experience, people on the internet (and especially tumblr) like to get disproportionately upset over just about anything without thinking it through… It makes a great excuse to write all sorts of walls of text of mindless, self-righteous, inflammatory dribble.

hell, every fall in my town they put out warnings for hikers since the prairie dogs carry fleas that have the bubonic plague. nothing a little antibiotics can't fix, unlike the past where they assumed your humors were out of balance and they'd bleed you, make you drink bile, and fead you "medicine" made from powdered fruit and lead XD medical history is really interesting and amusing

 

nope, still around, but not nearly as dangerous with basic modern medicine. personally I'd be more worried about getting lyme's disease than the bubonic plague. most people who get lyme's are only given 2 weeks of antibiotics which doesn't fully work and they usually eventually end up with a few autoimmune disorders.
