The "Bad Mood" Thread

I am in such a pissy mood! I started to get signs of a cold last Tuesday and now it's monday.
My ears hurt, my throat hurts, chest hurts from coughing and I can't speak a squeak comes out. So frustrated by not being able to communicate.

 

Not a bad mood but it make me, meh I guess.
Finished Dust: an elysian tail. Couldn't be more disappointed with its ending. It's just meaningless.

 

Prrrretty upset that I may not be able to get a Sparkle Sponsor badge for Ciderfest. Registration is still open but there are only 12 badges left. I get paid next week.

 

i would get that wolf dragon from you and money to do it but i dunno if im prepared to spend ~$80 after getting Terra =3=


as for me, i dont think today is gonna be a good day. i woke up at 11 again, went to have cereal but no milk, mail came but no letter from my boyfriend's grandmother, mom left and told my brother to take out the dogs but he never does so im stuck doing it every time, there is next to no other food in the house that doesnt require a long time to cook (because my brother eats all the 'easy' stuff cause he is too lazy to cook), and to top it off i have a tax course i dont wanna go to anymore tonight. i was pressured into it from the start.

looks like its either pasta or nothing for breakfast.

 

Eh, I'm having one of those lonely days. I don't know whether I was closed in myself for too long and I'm now just blind to obvious signs, or just unlucky enough to not have anybody giving those to me. Or maybe it's something wrong with myself? I don't even really know anymore. I've tried reaching out on my own hand, every time thus far I was burned, maybe I'm just scared of being burned further? I'm trying to make it not affect me a lot... But being lonely, not having someone to just cuddle and snuggle to IRL sucks.

Okay, bad mood vented. Carry on soldiers, nothing interesting here.

NOTHING went right today.
Gawdamn lab professor and her disorganized indecipherable instructions. Fucking holding me up when I got a damn exam to take. SPOILER ALERT couldn't even concentrate, was 20 fucking minutes late for it thanks to her

It's a badge that gives me free stuff as well as priority seating to events and to the autograph line. As well as a catered dinner and a meet and great with the guests who will be at the convention, and early access to the exhibit hall.

 

Oooh this sounds like a really special badge. Can you not do any art commissions to raise some funds asap for this badge?

I mean, I only get slightly bummed if no one fills my commission slots, but I get downright SAD if ppl don't even take freebies ( I be like "Do I suck THAT bad :x)

 

I've just found my ps3 on and hot as a frying pan. My mother turned it on by accident, the controller was not on the sofa but on the ps3 and it have been on since I DON'T FUCKING KNOW.
She will say that it was me. I haven't used the ps3 for a week or so. Let me guess who it was....

 

Yaaas. Coming tired from work and two things keep me distracted from resting...
1. Parents as always make a shitstorm about the moneys. Apparently they can't even discuss it politely without yelling at each other >.<
2. My mum just gave me some money to put onto her bank account. Nothing wrong, right? Well, it's not a most pleasurable thing to hear if it's told in a form of order like in military, and when you're tired after work while this requires going out to shopping mall. "You'll go and put the money on my bank account", all with drill seregant tone. She's talking to me like that whenever she wants me to do something, it's going on for a few years I think. :x And I've tried talking to her about that, no result or very short-living one at best.
I just want all my problems to be gone.

 

There's something that's both angered and saddened me for years now.

I planned on having a military career right out of high school, enlist after graduation and work through the ranks. Do a minimum of 15 years in any branch where I can be part of an air crew then eventually a pilot. I was an JROTC captain most of high school and the commander of my squadron, as well as a lieutenant in Civil Air Patrol.

Time comes for me to enlist. I'm excited that I'll finally be able to put the past years to use. Only, I get bad news. Since I was born with childhood asthma, I get the red flag. I haven't had any flare ups or symptoms of asthma since I was 4. 14 years of a clean bill of health, all undone by something out of my control.

I'm reminded of this fact everyday. Every male in my family, on both sides, have served. And I'm the one who disgraces this because of something out of my control. I know it's not my fault, but it's something out of my control. And that's what drives the spike in my heart. No matter what I do, I will never be able to do what I planned.


Anyway, just something I've been thinking about for... a while. Return to your normal programming.

 

it is a legit reason, at least.

for a short time in my last year of school, i wanted to go into Army Reserves. i was and still am overweight by ~30 pounds, glasses, and the endurance of a fat turtle. i eventually stopped because i simply knew i would never get past screening. and even if i did, with all of this war going on, i wouldnt last. i am a person that cannot stand to think like a machine and have little control over myself.

i dont know what else to say other than you probably arent alone. if i wouldve though for Air Force (like mom wanted me to) but i wouldve been immediately kicked because of imperfect vision.

 

I don't like the fact that the military branches can afford to be picky about recruits. My stepbrother was in basic but was kicked out for failing a psych test partway through. My ex (who is a really good friend of mine for years) was kicked out because of his shoulder, which never was brought up before until it dislocated while he was doing pushups. He placed it back to normal but he was still medically discharged.

If I had gone through with the Marines, I'm not sure how it would have gone. I had no endurance and no sort of muscle, so wouldn't know how the physical tests would have gone. I had been off my adderal back then for 5 years so that was no issue. weird they want you off psych drugs before you go to basic....
