I am wondering if it was already decided not to do trade/sales feedbacks? I know things can get dicey but its sometimes a lot of work to get feedback on a user who has items for sale/trade

There will always be an element of uncertainty when buying 2nd hand, thats pretty much the trade off for getting toys at low costs.

Having a review board for individual people sounds like a recipe for disaster imo. personally I make my decisions based on how involved the seller is with the community and so far its worked all the 6 times I bought.

Both of them have their flaws.. Looking at their post history isn't always going to give any certainty. I've successfully bought from multiple people with 1 post. (their sales post, yes) And I've also bought from rather "famous" people around here, even paid extra sometimes, and their items never arrived.. So that's not water tight either..

My personal rule of thumb is when having to take a risk is: "Can I afford to lose this money?" If I can, then there other things come into play, but if I can't I won't do it.

True, I do my research, but I guess it would be useful if more folks listed the people they have traded with in their sigs whenever possible, at the very least. People with many posts do not necessarily equal honest, and I've had no issues with some first time posters, versus a non newbie.

I guess my thoughts are ebay works pretty fairly for both buyer and seller and even when I buy from a 100% seller I know my transaction could be the one the screw up on. Nothing's perfect

I'm actually going to start listing people I've bought/traded from etc in my profile. And pretty much all the people I've done so with either just had one post or a few so it all depends on how you feel about it and the person.
