So I heard about the school shooting in Washington earlier today. Two dead, four injured. And of course the fucking coward takes their own life.

I feel like I need to comment on school shootings, and just terrorism in general.

Tragedies happen, and it's horrible when they do. Many people are affected by these acts. The thing to remember, is that the people who do these kind of things do it because they can't affect people on a massive scale. These people, the weapon they use is fear. They feed off of it. Don't buy into it, don't let them feed off of it. These people are monsters.

It's fine to talk about the incidents. You're not offending anyone by doing so. You're showing those who want to control you that you're not scared.

Whatever cause or movement these people are trying pushing, is null and void when they resort to these acts.

Do not be afraid of the dark. Don't back down. Don't give in. Help the people affected by these tragedies heal in an effective manner, and figure out how to move on.

 

I don't know, I've known women who were, well....
