The "Bad Mood" Thread

I'd be happy to car pool with people but we're all so scattered.

 

Well I still have to take a bus to my station which annoys me because it's like £5 when only a few years back I could get to and from town for £1.50 and that was still an adult fair. I used to be able to get a train to London for about £20 or under if you booked in advance at the station even by a week. Now they'll charge you whatever they feel like. I feel sorry for the people that have to take the trains at peak times because I am sure that's most of their wages on train fares.

 

So true Snow, a return used to be like £1.80 to town for me, now its like £3.80

 

So my chums and i had a very eventful night.

First off, for the past 2 days i've been battling through a severe allergy attack from my dads house. When my fursuit came i felt well enough to go over and show my friends it. We chatted, ate pizza, watched tv, and decided to go to a dennys to visit a friend.

That's...that's were our night went a big ugly. My friend that is dating the other friend who works at dennys dated a co worker. a very unstable co worker. so she walked over to our table and called my best friend a whore and to leave her fucking dennys and to never come back when she was working. she did and went out to her car to wait because she's the bigger person and i went along as well. she then proceeded to come up to my other friends and tell them if they want service, they need to go to another fucking dennys. we did nothing wrong mind you, we just got a table and it just happened to be when my friend's bf's ex was working.

Our waiter put our orders on hold and apologized immensely for what happened. we really appreciated as we waited but we were advised by our friend to stay in our car and lock the doors. apparently if we were to step out and she saw us, she was going to ram into our car and run over any of us that were outside.

real kicker here: the chick is 35+ threatening 20 yr olds. that's messed up. especially publicly in her work place.

her manager took note of what happened and all of us are sending in complaints/reports against her in the morning for the way we were treated. she isn't even a manager she's just a waiter and treated us like that even tho all we did was walk in to get food.

soooo...yea fun fun night for meeeeee

... speaking blatantly here i think this is a situation that calls for this woman being fired immediately and even jailed. come on, she threatened to run over/kill people. that is NOT someone that should be working around people. and its a person like that, that i dont feel like im comfortable walking lone in town without pepper spray or a knife. or both :/

yet, say, if i were a waiter and my friend came in for lunch, and i jokingly said 'im going to kill you' i would be in a buttload of trouble for a joke with a friend. heck in school if my dark/twisted humor slipped out in the slightest, i got sent to the office immediately.

 

@PrincessGustopher that woman had no right to speak to you like that especially in her working environment. Personal matters should never be displayed in a public places under any circumstances. The way she acted would have been an immediate dismissal in some places but I think the manager just wants your written complaints to solidify the grounds on sacking her.
But thank goodness your all ok she sounds like a nutter.

My friends and i are all calling the cooporate office in the morning to file reports. After 5 people call and share their stories about this girl she won't have a job anymore.

My mom is also considering having us file a police report because of the death threat she issued us because she doesn't want to take any chances.

 

good. i would definitely file against this woman, at least a restraining order.

 

Why am I such a chicken? Can't even press button to email to solve most of my current goal's problems. Easy button, just can't press it because chicken about what will happen, uncontrollable, unpredictable.

 

I'm just feeling let down today. By life. By myself. By everything. And I don't even know why. I'm just feeling like I'm losing that force to push me forward.
I'm slipping into bad mood again, eh? I guess it's inevitable.

 

@PrincessGustopher I would go ahead with the police report to. If that woman wigs out at work and scares her own staff. I'd say get something that will protect you and others from her.

 

i have no idea why, when i sit at the couch, my cat feels compelled to get on my lap no matter how much i push her off, or sit on the table and rub on my computer. if i lean back with my feet up, she rubs my feet. and she HAS to clean herself right there, too. why... her breath stinks...

 

So my parents just tried to pull some utter bullshit. And probably illegal bullshit at that.

My dad: "Hey we're going to go and early vote and you're coming along."
Me: "Why? I don't know anyone on the ballot at all."
My dad: "I thought of that."
He then shows me a sample ballot with all the people running on it. Great right? Nope. He highlighted every candidate he wanted to win (and will presumably vote for). SO HE WANTS ME TO BLINDLY VOTE FOR WHOEVER THE FUCK HE WANTS! FUCK NO! I'M NOT A PARTISAN SHEEP LIKE YOU ARE!

So I came up with a plan while waiting for my mom to get ready. My plan was to vote in the exact opposite of what he wanted. If he wants my vote to be meaningless, his vote is meaningless.

But apparently the place we're going to vote at is open on the weekend so now I can actually be a responsible adult and make up my own damn mind. Even then I still want to nullify his vote entirely.

 

I think you're taking that a bit far... It's not illegal, and I'm virtually certain he wasn't trying to offend you. If you don't know the candidates, I assume you're not particularly outspoken politically, so he probably assumed you didn't care, and was just providing you with a cheat sheet of the ones he likes.

 

That is all true (probably I don't actually know) But he knows that voting is important and so on but doesn't seem to care about my opinion. Both of my parents seem to want me to be them, and that isn't happening, hasn't happened, and sure as fuck won't ever. I like me too much.

Yeah I'm very not outspoken about politics, but I do care. If it get's brought up at work or whatever I'll share some of my ideas but I won't get in a heated argument or anything serious. And I absolutely hate when people that wear their politics on their sleeve (bumper stickers, signs in your own yard, shouting ideas on the street, etc.). And really I didn't need a cheat sheet to know who he was going to vote for, I just need to see what party they belong to.

It's probably not a big deal and I'm probably blowing everything out of proportion but it all just irks me.

But it's definitely good to do your research, and don't feel the need to fill out all the boxes if you haven't researched the candidates, which a lot of people think you have to do.

 

Yeah I'm going to actually look into it and make my mind up now. Also a I do have the option "none of the above" for some of the offices. Nevada gunna do what Nevada gunna be. iirc "none of the above" got about 5% of the last presidential vote.
