What Is On Your Mind?

I think Howl-O-Scream ended over the weekend here. A couple people I know are spending the next couple days getting their voice back.

The last one I went to was the Silent Hill one. They had a haunted house with the nurses in the hallway from the movies. That was awesome.

 

Yeah. I made sure to take care of my voice, though one night I ended up sounding like Batman. I was more like myself by the next day. Though I do think I could use a little more healing.

From what I've heard, Busch Gardens (VA) does the entertainment and scenery very well, their monsters/haunters though are lacking. From what I understand, it's due to being bogged down by rules. Like they aren't allowed to break into a persons personal space at all. I don't know for a fact though, since I haven't been to BG in well over a decade. I was sorry to hear they had to remove the fake heads at the beginning of the season due to some overly PC complaints.

 

I think actors here have to follow the same rules.

This year's theme was... I don't know how to describe it. Alien vs. Predator, Michael Myers, and The Walking Dead were the attractions this year. Years ago they did the House of Vayne, it was like a high society vampire deal. I really liked their logo.

I imagine they do. Same company, same rules. Like I said, I respect what BG does for the entertainment and setting/scene/decoration, it's just that the scares aren't there.

At Kings Dominion, one of our long standing mazes is Club Blood, a vampire club. It seems to be quite the favorite.

Next year I'm looking to ask to change to a scare zone (terror-tory or whatever BG calls it) that is vampire themed, called The Lair (actually they won our Scare Zone of the Year this year) as a Nosferatu-esque vampire. I'll keep my head shaved every night to do that.

I wish Warlord's of Draenor would come out faster. ;-; It's taking so long. At least my man is coming over Wednesday!

 

I'm saying this then taking cover, I've never actually looked into the Nosferatsu style of vampires. I don't really have any ideas on what they could do next year, just as long as it isn't a movie from the early 2000s.

I'm waiting on The Dark Below myself Grimm. Us Xbox users are getting a little fucked over sadly.

 

I hear ya! I am excited to hear that Blizzard trademarked The Dark Below, but I've heard a lot of rumor it's going to be used for Hearthstone. :I If that's the case I cry. I think WoD will prove to be a very interesting expansion, but I really want some fresh material! I am also still a little sour that they are not introducing a new race. ; o ; I need a new druid race!

 

I've never played WoW, so I know very little about it. What is this expansion adding?

OH SHIT THOSE SPIDERS ARE TERRIFYING WHAT THE SHIT.

Hm.. The expansion honestly is not adding anything, really. About the only thing they did was overhaul the character models for everything older than Cataclysm. :c They also did some overhauls on some classes, as some were super OP compared to others and some just lacked so badly it was terrible. This expansion is essentially going back in time to around TBC, but instead of dealing with demons and shit as the main plot, we're dealing with the Horde (as they chose not to drink the blood of Mannoroth). IT'S GONNA BE CONFUSING, but in my opinion it will be very fun. :3c

That's what a lot of people have been saying. At the end of MoP, Hellscream escaped to the past by strange means. He wants to reset time and "restore" things. :I So.. I think it's more of a patch than an expansion, but the expansion is actually pretty huge??? I don't even know. It's hard to explain, but I imagine it's gonna be exciting!

Also that's creepy and scary, Scalie. :c Parasites are just wack. If you guys didn't know, there is a rare thing that can happen to twins! A twin's... Well, twin, can actually end up growing inside of the other twin. It never fully develop, but mostly ends up as a tumor-like blob. :I Or the interesting story of Jean and Jacques Libbera? Yeesh! Talk about creepy, yet so fascinating.

 

There was a similar story about a man being born with his twin's face on the back of his head.

I'll see if I can find it.

That is fucking terrifying to think about. It's already bad enough that there are people who absorbed their twin in utero (like the mother who didn't even know until she couldn't get a DNA match with her children, which then led her to finding out that, yeah, she would've had a twin had she not fucking absorbed her,) but to have their face on the back of your head? adljfalksdfja;lkdjf;kaldjfalkdja

Unrelated, but I find it amusing that when I start drinking tea, I also start smoking. I'm a walking contradiction.
