My parents are being absolutely insufferable
They've always hated the fact that my older sister is a lesbian and hated it even more when she got married to her girlfriend and hated it most when the two of them had a baby together via A.I.

But now, after years of marriage and just before the baby's first birthday, my mom tells me that my sister is getting a divorce.
Her wife and friend of many years had started cheating on her and even worse not even hiding it, but worse than that is that the girl shes messing around with was cheating on her own partner too, so its two cheaters getting together (fucking fairytale isn't it). Her former partner's parents are acting like my sister has no rights to the baby (because their daughter was the one inseminated) despite the fact that she legally adopted her and paid for the insemination.

I am so freaking angry about all this. How dare that woman come into our lives and make this mess. She had finally earned at least some respect from my parents for saving my sister when she fell down a short flight of stairs and got at least 15% of her body covered in 3rd degree burns from a pot of oil she was trying to throw away.

And my god if I have to hear one more poorly phrased "I told you so" from my parent's mouths. Going on about how this is proof that God doesn't approve of this lifestyle and that it was bound to happen. News flash guys, homosexual marriages are just as prone to degradation as heterosexual ones, so shut up. Fuck I am so angry

 

@Misskin *hugs* I hope everything works out for your sis and her baby even if she isn't ok with her partner.
Loyalty seems to be not a thing now days. That's why I don't bother even starting a relationship with anyone caused they'd most likely cheat on me.

 

Yeah, it's the weirdest argument ever, that it is because they're gay... But I feel for your sis, must be horrible for her!
