What Is On Your Mind?

I often find myself contemplating starting WoW again… but its just such a damn time sink (though fun as hell).

But now that Smash 4 is out, I don't plan on playing many other games for quite some time… who knows, maybe I can get really good at this one...

 

All my time lately has been going into Destiny. Destiny... never have I found a game that rewards you less for time spent. XD I spent a WEEK STRAIGHT grinding strike playlists and got abso-fucking-lutely NOTHING out of it. Lol

Even RuneScape rewarded you more for time spent playing, and that shit was NOTHING BUT grinding! RuneScape. That's another game I was debating picking back up, but only if there's a free-to-play, circa '06 or '07 version. I need to check that out.

Also also, I'm debating selling my current PC and building a new one in the next little while, but I DON'T WANT WINDOWS 8, omg.

 

I finally walked away from WoW for good near the beginning of Mists of Pandaria. I loved that game SO much...but it got to the point that all I did was bitch about it. I finally realized that, yeah, there are things about the game I don't like (no game is perfect), but ultimately, that wasn't the problem: I just got tired of it. Non mmo-games have a sort of natural lifespan: you play it through once or twice or even a few times, and you stop playing when it wears thin, and you remember it fondly and move on to something else. WoW, though, has no end: you just keep playing and playing until you can't stand the sight of it anymore, lol. Every time they announce something new, you come back to try it one more time. It's funny: I keep thinking I've come to hate that game, and then I hear the music for Eversong Woods or Teldrassil and it makes me all happy again. Time for me to let the game die a dignified death rather than dragging it out of its grave and yelling: "Be entertaining again!"

I've got papers and documents littering my desk and the area around it. Didn't have time to do laundry over the weekend. Need to organize books too.

I'm 20 now. Whoopty fucking doo. I don't really care about birthdays anymore. And imo there are only 4 important birthdays in a person's life anyway: 0, 18, 21, 65. And in most countries 21 doesn't matter at all. America...

I would say go for it and start up WoW! People may say WoW is overrated and WOW WHY WOULD YOU PAY $15 A MONTH TO KEEP A GAME GOING. Well, has anyone ever seen a 7.6 million large player base for a free to play MMO? The time sink is so much fun and there is so much to do. I love to raid. :'D

If any of you start up, gimme a holler! I'm playing Horde on Hyjal. :3 I would love to play with a bunch of ya guys!

 

I've always thought of giving it another try. I played it for a week way way back in highschool and had no ide what I was doing, so I didn't enjoy myself. Ever since I gave Oblivion a retry with some help from my friend and loved it (I bare played it back when I first got it because I was unsure what I was supposed to be doing), However, I have thought I should back to it and give it another go.

Although that probably won't be until after the exam period, way to busy to install a time sink x3

Raiding felt good but took for friggin ever.

I've started to enjoy competitive games much more now... Though they cause me to rage quite a bit more.
