    I also got cod for lunch! It was battered, deep fried and served with copious amounts of chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and tea. Job done! Love England!

    I'm thinking as I'm getting the sandwich version at Culvers it will be slightly greasy. But good news is I get french fries and a college student discount :3

    Traditional English food fascinates me! One thing I haven't looked into before... Are mushy peas basically just green peas mashed up?

    Afternoon ladies and gents.

    Back home after a long week in Orlando. I was invited to attend an international S.W.A.T. competition. Different S.W.A.T. groups from instate and some out of country (I saw some from Sweden, Hungry, and Germany) competed against each other in different exercises. Pretty cool thing.

    While I was away I saw a pretty cool drawing someone did of the Puppet from Five Nights at Freddy's 2. If I saw this picture before Halloween, I would have made a costume of it. All I really need is a music box and a sign saying something like "Keep the music box wound."

    The WoD launch is so terrible. ;A;

    Also been talking with the Beau. We're thinking about building my own computer as a Christmas present if I sell off some dongers. THIS IS EXCITING. I've never built my own computer. @ x @

    It's easy Grimm :p Just like Lego of some sort. Almost everything is constructed in such a way that you can't fit it in other slot than it's supposed to be, and you can't put parts in the wrong way either. Just don't use too much force or any tools besides a screwdriver for screws xP

    So I just found out that my sister is dropping out of school. I could just feel the disappointment in my parent's voices. Which really fucking pisses me off. My Mom has a Master's and my Dad has a PhD, so they wanted both of us to get at least a Master's in something from the day we were born. And that's not going to happen with either of us! My sister does have a Bachelor's though, which is plenty given the field.

    Maybe your parents should research the fact that a college degree is now worth as much as toilet paper...it's just not practical to get one, especially with the hundreds of thousands you end up having to pay back throughout the course of your lifetime...all while not even being able to get a job in your field.

    I have a friend who got her masters in psychology, and the only job she could get was working at a laundromat.
    Yeah, good luck paying those student loans back on that paycheck :C

    Oh dear lord. If you can't be happy with a BACHELOR'S then you need to reevaluate your priorities. And if they think someone with a bachelor's can't make an intelligent and informed decision regarding their education, that's pretty sad.

    Not only that, but continuing education IS a thing. She could very well go back to get a masters in her field after gaining experience in whatever industry she'd be working in. It's actually MORE impressive doing that than doing it all at once, because it shows you retained the school competencies through your working career.

    @Vitani The problem is that because my parents did get higher degrees and they were successful in silicon valley in the 80's, not only will they not listen because they seem to expect the same thing to happen to us, but educational financing isn't an issue for us (which is great, I suppose). They have always told the both of us our entire lives to do whatever we want and be good at it. And I at least want to not be in school right now, so fuck off, mom and dad. I'm assuming she feels the same. Another thing they always told us "Stay in school until you're sick of it." Don't get disappointed in us for doing what you said.

    Don't know why part of that was written as if I were talking to them but there it is.
