@MurphyAlter I completely agree. And even then it's not like it's the end of the world to take some time off from school. The shit's stressful, it sucks, nobody enjoys every aspect of it, why spend 8 straight years doing it? Real life is nothing like school and that is one thing school can not teach by definition. So going out and seeing it is a great lesson. And I'm saying this from only a few months of still sheltered experience.

 

I enjoy learning and plan on getting an associates degree before moving on to s four year college. Then. I want to get a degree as a graphic designer. My dre job is to be video game critic :3 so minor in journalism? Maybe. But I hate acedemic research lol.

 

I've never wanted to do naughty things to a marionette before... guess there's a first time for everything.

From what I've seen college isn't the way to become a video game critic...

 

So my man and I went out and split the bill on a new power supply and video card. :'D I am excited to test it out, as it took a long ass time to get put together. x_x

 

Almost off to a friend of my aunt to "rescue" a shitload of books on feminism (else they'll be thrown out). And then I'll go to my new lover for dinner (probably won't stay over, because he's busy tomorrow, but still nice to see him). Good day

Unfortunatly it is. Peoe don't just hire folks with a high school degree these days. I'm really kinda tired of people putting down continuing education and college. If you don't want to DL it that's your choice. However I'm sure as hell ain't gunna quit now. I see college as a way to get somewhere in life.

 

I'm not putting down going to college. I've been scrambling to apply for the spring semester myself.

 

College is starting to become necessary for any job that is not Service Industry (Convenience Store or Fast Food worker).

 

And still required for most management above a shift supervisor.

I would not have my job as a high voltage electrical engineer if I didn't have my degree. It's well worth it if you can!

 

Let's not forget, two important things when it comes to finding work is connections and luck. Unfortunately.
