What Is On Your Mind?

I discovered today that one should not toy with an XL Clayton and then go spend 30 minutes in yoga class an hour later. No, nothing horrible happened, but the combined soreness left me seriously aching. Man, even the beginning class wrung me completely the fuck out.

 

On the subject of SSD's I don't recommend any SSD under 120 GB (unless you're doing RAID 0 or Caching). I've got a 64GB in my PC for my OS which fucking sucks because it just fills up so damn fast with garbage. I will buy a 120 or 128 GB SSD in the future and just use my 64GB as a cache drive for my main HDD.

If you aren't fluent in technology I feel bad for you.

 

I run 2x 250Gb Sandisk SSDs in Raid 0... so awesomely fast and can fit most of my games on with the operating system.

 

Listen to this man! I have the same problem and it's quite annoying.

 

I ordered a ready made ridley, the description said onyx black when I ordered it, I then go to view my order history and it's listed as a surprise me... Needless to say I sent a ticket immediately.

 

Oh dear. Well, hopefully it gets sorted out quickly. I guess some little system quirk labeled it wrong at some point. I wish ya luck with the ticket system. The Ridley is a really fun toy, so I hope you get the one you want.

That's really fucking terrifying, actually. Can you imagine how the Christ-o-cons will react this news? Given that until 1979 abortion was an acceptable choice among conservative Christians (non-Catholics, at least), I can easily see them reversing course on this news and adopting the Numbers 5:11 interpretation and will act to reject this "false seed."

while I think it would be nice to have definitive proof to say it's not a choice so all the fundamentalists would shut their yaps I could also see a risk of eugenics and trying to find a "cure" for it as if it were some kind of genetic disease. long term I see science as a whole suffering from people trying to fit unbiased research findings into their ideologies like a lot of early racists did citing studies of cranial variation or in the early days of genetics people making claims that "rich, attractive people have good genes and the ugly poor have bad genes"

 

I honestly don't think it'll make fundamentalists shut their yap; they are pretty much by definition set in their ways and refuse to accept evidence no matter how solid it is. Really, I just think that better public understanding of whether people are gay by nature, nurture, choice, or the most likely, a combination of the 3, will only help lay waste to misunderstandings and misinformation that is so commonly spread, and ultimately lead to a people being more accepting, as well as help many gay people who are uncomfortable/confused about their orientation.

 

The more I work on this gift for my friend I am working whether they will like it or not. Or should I even continue with it.
