I ordered my second graphics card. So excited for faster video rendering and the other benefits. It was 75 bucks off too!

 

I just realized that I listen to music almost constantly. Whenever I'm not at work or sleeping, there is music in my ears. The only time I listen to silence is when I'm in bed with my eyes closed prepared to fall asleep. I don't know what I would do without my music. Honestly.

 

Life's been crazy busy lately. I am also having to build myself a new desktop; my laptop is pooping out on me. @_@ I don't wanna wear it out completely while gaming, so I've decided it's best to just start buying the parts for a desktop now.

@othersounds, you're not the only one. If it's not music, then it's a livestream. Where mostly is music played anyway, besides talking lol

 

Is there a specific reason for that? Now I'm curious. I personally use music as a way of escape. When I put my headphones on (for instance) I feel a certain calm I can't find anywhere else.

 

For me it's to not hear my parent's arguing and ranting all over smallest things... *sigh* But it also gives me sort of relief. Especially rhytmic/energic songs. When listening to them, I feel powered up somehow.

 

There's not really a reason, maybe, I just don't want it to be silent, probably?
But if I tend to loop a specific track, you can tell, in which mood I am right now.

Had to write a small paper for biological anthropology on social-cultural perceptions of race considering there is no biological proof to show inherent differences between race and how a basic understanding of human biology and variability could change people's ideas about race. I'll be interested to see what my professor's feedback is on my paper since I looked at the social phenomena and categorizing people perform from a psychological heuristics driven and cognitive dissonance reinforced standpoint instead of the usual stuff people write where they completely sidestep the topic and just say "it's bad and should be stopped" okay, but what causes it and how do you stop it? it is it possible to get rid of completely or do people just need to make the effort to not be dicks to people based on physical appearances or differences in behavior. blah, I ramble when my brain starts a cognitive circle-jerk of cross disciplinary concepts and topics

See, when I hear music I HAVE to listen to it, and I can't multitask when I listen to it.
I have to sit on my knees and listen to it because it helps to clear my mind and it automatically puts me into meditate mode.
Some instances I can hear it in the background, but I really like to appreciate my music when I listen to it.

It is the basis inspiration for all my art ;D

Also, my boyfriend plays music, and we always love our collaborative jam sessions where his music fuels my art adventures for the day.
It's cool too, cos depending on what style of music he plays that day, my art will interpret it and come out differently.

 

I like dub step :3. And rock n heavy metal n other stuff. Not country.

 

Seeing as I always have music playing I got no choice but to multitask. Then there are certain songs that makes me drop everything and forces me to listen without distractions. Also like you said, meditate mode. Only with the help of music am I able to reach that.

Also, you and your boyfriend seems like quite the match when you describe it like that.

 

I used to listen to music everywhere and all the time, no matter what I was doing but that's not really the case any more. I have an itch to listen to music whenever I'm driving though, no matter how quiet or loud.

 

As much as I like Smash Bros. for 3DS, I hate the 3DS for having practically no ergonomics. Especially if you get über-sweaty hands, like I do, you need something to grip on. Bluuurgh...

 

I've had the hardest time finishing that speedpaint today, but if I'm lucky that'll be the last time I need to re edit it. Now I want to practice a small amount of animating, I just need a picture.

 

make a new style of 3DS case and sell it on Etsy? hell, I could probably make cases for stuff out of leather if enough money were thrown my way

 

Sometimes I feel I put too much time and effort into my videos based on the response I get. But then I remember that I can and have made videos in under 12 hours, with my record being 3 I think. And the 3 hour one I didn't even have anything at the start. But I'm having fun and learning something that could become a career so it's not all bad.

 

I have a day off, and all I want to do is breed. *pants and shivers*
