What Is On Your Mind?

Well today was alright, "dinner" was decent, seeing as my mom and I don't really celebrate Thanksgiving, we just simply went out to eat

 

I've been struck by sudden, unexplained sadness. yay.

 

I'm so pleased with how thanksgiving turned out. I cooked AAAAAAAlllll day. Made sweet potatoes, rolls, honey bourbon glazed ham, green bean casserole, hash brown casserole, and stuffin muffins! ^w^

 

Oooh wow, that all sounds delicious!

Thanksgiving is one of my fav holidays. I love to cook and feed people!
Usually I make venison, fish, and ham, but this year we were limited on funds but I feel SUPER accomplished because we got everything done for less than fifty dollars!! WOOO!

 

Hehe x3 I love that about thanksgiving too x3 The cooking and feeding and stuffing myself silly :3 it's a wonderful feeling! and nicely done!

Hey Miss, feels like I haven't seen you in so long.

 

It was a good day.

Thanksgiving with the family. Saw what the family's German friends have done with one of the houses, everythings coming along great. Grandfather gave me an old altimeter to mess around with. Also ran into an old childhood friend, by that I mean he and I were friends since we were infants.

 

Well, the grad school that was my top choice declined my application. They could have at least sent an email, I only found out because I randomly checked up on it through the site. It's a bummer, as I'd really like to move out that way, but I have three other schools I'm waiting on. Time will tell.

but yes I've been lurking lately because so much crazy has been happening around the house

 

Side note
I want it to become cannon to also refer to Thanksgiving day as Gray Thursday, since its the day before Black Friday and some stores start sales early

 

just on pc before sleeping allday for nights -_- (yay can totally be assed with that shit) so im sat listening to two bands i love after seeing them live this month ..... i hope so badly they come back and just do two headline acts at like hour and half each ...

I hate this time of year.

It's cold, windy. It gets dark too early. Tacky decorations. TV is nothing but annoying holiday ads. People trample each other just to save a couple bucks on some product.

But I think the thing I hate most of all, is the fake kindness. It's like a requirement that you have to be a good person around the holidays, but once that's over you can right back to being an asshat. Why is it so hard to be a decent person year round?
