I'm looking at suits, think when I'm back up in NC next month for this Christmas party thing I'm going to take Emma out to a nice restaurant, thinking Margaux's in Raleigh which is a very upscale French restaurant. Hm.

 

Got snowed out at work, then had to dig my car out before I could leave. It made me feel very Canadian.

I think I'd be much happier if I didn't listen to world events, but I like to be informed on various happenings in the world. Silly me.

Apparently some protest groups originally protesting the decision in Furguson, also protested Black Friday. Coming up with hashtags like #NotOneDime and #HandsUpDontShop. These two events, the shooting of Michael Brown and Black Friday have nothing in common. I don't see why you connect the two events, one where a man was shot and killed, and the other a day of holiday savings. A couple malls were temporarily forced to close after protesters staged a "die in" (basically people laying on the ground as if they've all been shot.)

Protesting is fine, but doing it to force your will on others is not. Interrupting buisness, especially on one of the busiest days of the year, or blocking traffic is not protesting.
