I prefer coursework to exams. At least with course work your mind doesn't go blank as soon as you sit your arse down on that exam chair.

 

Well i can't actually do anything too overly adult as there will be younger kids at our get together so gotta stick to something more PG-13.

I get to reinstall windows and a bunch of programs onto my new SSD this weekend. Fun... And then I get to set up my current OS drive as a cache drive for my main HDD. Also I'm hoping by doing this I can get SLI to work and I can fully utilize all that CUDA goodness. Acronyms and Initialisms are fun!!!

 

I wish I had the funds to upgrade my computer to have more hard drive space plus faster processing capabilities for my audio mixing

 

I really need a new PC. I've run out of capacity and my CPU and GPU are waaay out of date.

 

ehhh, I mostly just use the computer for watching videos and talking about dragon dicks.

 

You've got to be kidding me...

Around 150 people here in Tampa held a protest like the ones happening in New York and Ferguson. And just like those up north, the protesters blocked roads, staged "dye ins", and even interrupted a live band and a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. What fucking planet are these people from? What fucking right do they have to protest in this way?

Don't get me wrong. Everyone has their right to protest. But when its done like this, when it interrupts events not even connected to what you're protesting.... I can't even put into words how stupid it is.

 

People resort to extreme measures when injustices go ignored. I don't blame them in the slightest.

I don't know how to describe these people, and it's not in a positive way. Yes they have the right to protest but they do not have the right to block roads, close businesses, and just ruin peoples' fun. It's ridiculous.

 

People don't pay attention if they don't make a fuss, because people would rather just go their normal routes, go shopping and go out having fun while others can't because of the threat of being abused and murdered by people who are supposed to protect them as well as the dregs of the previous century. The "justice system" is a farce and these communities know it, but everyone else is quite happy to turn a blind eye as long as they get their Christmas jollies.

 

If anyone wants I'm more than willing to put together a parts list for PC stuff.

@Kyvinaria : Like I said, they have the right to protest. They also have the right to request protesting zones, just look at Westboro Baptist Church. In all of their protests and picketing, they stand inside barricades to spread their hate filled messages. Why can't the people protesting about certain police officers not do the same? Why do they have to resort to the measures they've taken? They aren't justified.

@AkaiKitsune : People like to play the victim card. If they can make themselves out as the victim, they can spin whatever story they want and people will tend to believe them. Just look at modern Feminism.

You make it sound like the "people who are suppose to protect them", specifically target certain people based on the color of their skin, which is absolutely not true. In some small pockets of the world, sure, that's inevitable no matter what your race. But in this case, people are ignoring facts and going on nothing but emotion and race. These people are ignoring facts, and will complain in anyway they can.

 

I've already got a couple of lists, but I can't decide between a GeForce GTX760 (2GB) or Radeon R9 280x (3GB). They're roughly the same price and performance, I think. But I'm leaning more towards the Radeon due to familiarity and VRAM.

The 280x would be a much better deal if they are both sitting at the same price, and even if it's 30 bucks more I would go for it over the 760.
Also VRAM in no way correlates to performance, except at high resolutions. 2GB is plenty for 1080p or 1440p.
