So who are they trying to set you up with @PrincessGustopher? Also those people that went a running when they found out your gender are just the tools of this world I wouldn't even give them the time of day.

 

They really really reaaaalllyy want me to date my one friend I've known for the past 7 or 8 years. It would be a long distanced relationship (not insanely long distance, we only live 5 hours apart) but they want me and her to be together they they call her 'secret girlfriend' all the time. It actually bugged her a lot but they've cut down on it but they did help push it a bit because I've wanted to be with her for quite sometime. We're taking things slow before we make any decisions and we want to meet in person first before we decide to go further and junk.

It depresses me when people do that though cause it's like 'Well you liked me before why does my gender even matter?' and it's just e___e'...Now I tend to avoid people like that but it makes the pool very limited.

Also totally off topic but still sort of on topic cause it's the Bad Mood Thread, just got a call from my dad and my aunt died last night. So I have to call him back once I finish lunch to ask about the funeral. *sigh* why do things have to be crappy today oi vay.

Sorry to here about your aunt and I agree choosing a person because of their gender really shouldn't be a thing. If someone truely loves you then what junk you have below your pants waist band should really matter.

 

This weekend has been just fucking terrible.

Friday night on our way to get food, Kranix and I found a dog in the parking lot. She was an exuberant, super friendly pitbull. Normally I would just take the animal to a vet to have it checked out but it was after hours. Normally, I would put a found animal somewhere safe overnight and have it checked out in the morning, but I have cats who are not accustomed to dogs, and I couldn't very well leave her on the porch or trapped in the tiny bathroom. So I was forced to take her to the SPCA. I don't trust the SPCA not to put her down though. I had or leave her in a holding box because it was after hours and as we got in the car she looked out the window with the saddest most confused expression. I cried the whole way home.


Yesterday, one of my cats, Christian was acting strange so I called my vet and had their appointment moved to yesterday (he and Odin were due for shots). It turned out that he had a urethral blockage and I had to take him to a 24-hour vet hospital. He's currently still there. They said that it's a potentially life threatening condition but we seemed to catch it early. That visit alone will run me $1100-$1400 that I don't have. And the other vet visit was already over $200 and I haven't gotten Chris's shots yet...

Today wasn't quite as bad. We were supposed to go to a Christmas lights show but Kranix's mom got sick so we didn't go, and the Packers lost. But Chris is still in the hospital and I'm feeling PMSy and stressed about money and it's not a good weekend.

 

Jesus Christ, I can't even get approved for a secured credit card. What the fuck is an unemployed (now recently graduated) student supposed to do to build credit?!

 

I hate it that pitbulls are immediately killed if you take them into a rescue. It's not there fault they are who they are. Surely their personality should come first not their breed label.

It's like if society started culling humans cause of their race. It's the same cruel thing. But noooo we have human rights to protect us. What do animals have? Sickens me how the world works.

 

Nothing quite destroys little built self confidence like trying to take a decent selfie.

You only ever find a dog biting someone or a child is if they have been raised up that way aka dog fighting / an abusive up bringing. Or by someone irritating it so much and annoying only to ignoring all the warning growls the dog has given said person before hand until they get bit.

Also dogs hate certain noises so it a child is playing with something that is hurting the poor dogs ears of course it is going to attack them just to make it stop. Like a human would attack something if it was hurting them.

 

Kinda annoyed at how negative my mum is when I try and pursue something. Recently I have been studying Japanese and all of my Kana, not the Kanji just yet, anyway getting side tracked.
The thing was that I could read some of the parcel that came from Japan this morning and I was so happy about it. I wanted to tell my mum look look I can read this, but her reply was that she wasn't interested.
I tried again saying but I can read a foreign language, her responds was "Whats the point in learning it?"
My Response "So when and if I go to Japan I can read stuff and understand"
Her response "yeah in your Dreams."

So down right now.

 

Why wouldn't a parent encourage their child to learn new things??
Though if it's encouraging, I have two friends who learned an Asian language and now live and work over there. One is in Japan and the other is in Korea.

 

That's the thing I thought she'd be more stoked about it but nope. As for working and living in Japan it's something I want to do but only when I am confident enough to survive there. So languages come first I don't want to be a rude foreigner after all.
