the lineart would still be their property, though with this IMG code thing, we could create a thread that has user made emotes that we can use here

I was filling out an job application for Target and noticed that some questions are hard to answer especially this one
The percentage of politicians that I think are honest is:
    95%-100%
    90-94%
    75%-89%
    50%-74%
    less than 50%
Personally I would choose less than 50% but I lied and picked 50%-74% so I could seem less suspicious of authority. Or I was just over thinking it. There were other questions that are as bad. Being honest is haaaard! ugh, this is why I don't get hired anywhere.

The trick to those tests is to lie your ass off. You have to think "If I was an unreasonable human being living in a utopia where your boss is the law and everyone is perfect and never cheats, steals, or lies, and you adore your customers, how would you answer this question?"

And the second point to keep in mind is that you get rated on a point system for your answers. You get most points for choosing the extreme correct answer. Try never to choose the middle of the road answers. For example, the best answer for that question would probably be 95-100% because this would imply that you are optimistic and don't think other people are liars.

I hate those stupid tests. they're tricky bastards.

here's a pretty good breakdown of why you want to answer the way they want you to.

lol yeah. I want to be hired and that is why I lie on the tests. The video wasn't much help because I already knew how to take the tests but the answer to that one question "is it wrong for someone to escape convention on a technicality?" made my brain melt. I hate how things like this encourage people to be liars.

Plus since they practically expect you to lie on those things (since that's really the only way to go about taking them) what in the hell is the point of making people take them in the first place?

    @Abylgan
well honestly I kind of think of those tests like that chapter in Naruto where they had to take that test to graduate from the ninja academy. They made it nearly impossible to pass unless you cheated using your jutsus but you're not supposed to get caught.
Those companies fully expect you to pick the "acceptable" answers, but when you don't, that either means you aren't perceptive enough to pick up when you're supposed to give the "right answers" (not worth interviewing in their eyes) or you're too blunt/honest and might possibly have friction with customers.

At least that's how I interpret them

ugh I can't deal with those tests. Not because I can't lie my ass off (though it makes me uncomfortable to do so) but that some of the questions are so incredibly poorly structured that they could actually mean any number of things and it's worse to ask for clarification because the person 'helping' you will indubitably not understand that there are multiple meanings and it will make you look stupid instead. They also tend to be emotionally manipulative and I detest it.

Makes you wonder who the hell designed these things. Are there actually people who think they make sense?

They actually make you fill in tests like that? How is that going to help? For some jobs here they take intelligence and knowledge tests but that's it. And that's only for specific jobs you must have studied for.

I hope I never have to take another one of those tests for a job again. I remember one question that asked me what I would do if I saw a kid on the street that had dropped his or her ice cream on the ground. There were like three options to choose as answers. I mean come on..

Thoses tests are designed to highlight basic behaviours that employers are interested in. Generally, they indicate something about your demeanour, and willingness to cooperate. Employers are interested in a variety of metrics that help them determine "fit," and pick out the best candidates. It's really not that good of an idea to lie, Interviews will generally weed out liars if the interviewer has any real idea of how behavioural interviews are supposed to work. There's an error-correcting mechanism there that determines who writes/says what they think somebody wants to hear, and who is really a good fit for the role in question.

Granted, those tests are pretty weak-ass metrics but they can tell you SOMETHING, and it's better than guessing.

Had no idea I'd get to use my HR education on a dildo forum :3
