She doesn't have as much texture as my Natascha and isn't as tight either so it's nowhere near as intense a sensation. PHAT stands for Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury and it's the most complex image of our galactic neighbour Andromeda yet created. At 1.5 Billion pixels, 100 million stars are in this image and you can see most of them. The big bright ones are actually stars in the Milky Way.

Go ahead and explore. Andromeda might contain a trillion stars, easily doubling our estimates for the Milky Way. It's also far more massive, according to recent research, but there's still some debate there. We don't yet know precisely the distribution of dark matter here, or there, and it's hard to count the stars of the Milky Way given that we're in it and can only see so much of it from our vantage point. But we can see Andromeda, even with the naked eye.

I miss having a good view of the stars.
When i lived in western Colorado, I could just about read from the light of the Milky Way alone, the stars were so bright.

 

This is so great. When I looked at the full size image (btw, this thing is HUGE lol), I knew there has to be life somewhere in the universe. Maybe not like us - probably resembling our bacteria, but it's just impossible with such amount of stars that we are the only lifeform, considering that we are made of some very popular elements. It's just amazing, isn't it? I can't wrap my head around this fact easily ^^

 

Don't even try, it's just too big. Instead, just wrap IT around your head.

 

I don't smoke already, and I would do it because it felt relaxing and I don't have any sort of relaxing habits.
Besides I said I may pick it up later on, not necessarily said it was a guarantee.

 

I know, E-cigs still have some pretty negative effects on your health and are addictive. That's why it's a really bad idea to just start using them for no reason. Though the scholarly data available on E-cigs is still somewhat limited, it generally points towards them being the lesser evil compared to normal cigarettes.

I hate the snow removal service down here, they left an enormous ice plate on motorway exit and as a result I crashed my motorbike. It's not like winter is a new thing here and last day of snow was one week ago and yet they left ice on the highway, damn it.
At least my security outfit let me get out without injuries!
