Glad my school days are over its more like NOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo work now though.

printing out my syllabus for one of my classes, a math class, and they included 5 pages at the end on how the class might have information or themes or ideas that could be aggravating or triggering to students with past trauma and then a bunch of information on counseling options the school offers for free. are you fucking kidding me?

 

And I have a week yet til school starts.

they've basically stuck it onto the end of every class syllabus as a CYA (cover your ass) so that if they happen to have that one psychologically unstable person in a class that goes off over a linear equation or a discussion over the potential hypothetical meaning of an author's word choice in a book the school can't be sued because they gave a warning, but they usually still fire the teacher just to avoid any bad press
