What Is On Your Mind?

They're all in their 40's and have been working construction for 20+ years. Ain't no one changing their minds on nothing never (quad negative ). They don't seem to hate gay/bi people but they do find it icky, and they sorta seem to think less of them. It's dumb but nothing can be done :/

The dreaded Thick Headed Syndrome is fairly common among people in this field sadly.

Well all but one of them is married and has 2+ kids, and I'm pretty confident the other one is straight. But that could just be a ruse or hiding their actual feelings because it wasn't socially acceptable when they were growing up.

And that fantasy is certainly prevalent If only real life were more like a porno

That would be horrible though! nothing would ever get done! Every pizza delivery would take an hour at least, every doctor's visit would end in a finger (and more) in your butt, regardless of what you were there for, everyone would be getting 100%s in University because they would all be banging the professor, and Nuns would be.... actually you know what, I'm okay with this.

 

So nearly got fired from my job today. Apparently I can trust no one to have conversations with. I was conversing with the bakery manager and said some choice words, and she apparently ratted me out to the store manager. Got a stern talk and threats of being fired but was let off with being taken off the schedule for the rest of this week to "think things over".

No one really to blame but me there......
God I feel like shit...

 

No i blame the baker lady because she is a tattle tale and only said something to see if she'd get brownie points for being a brown-noser. I'd punch her right in the face. Its a shame that people look for the easy way to get higher up in a workplace. No matter how shameful others or themselves see it to be.

I was saying what was on my mind, and it was negative stuff about my boss and the store manager, basically how they needed to get their stuff together because the back stock room was in shambles...

 

now see, if the owner of the store had said any of that, everyone would have just nodded and agreed, but because it came from a "regular" employee, it was out of line. smh

back at Lubys I never said anything out loud that I would never want anyone else to know, no matter how much I liked/trusted anyone. it sucks that ppl would betray confidence like that

 

Hahaha, I know this completely! One of my foremans go-to insults is along the lines of "What, do ya like it in the butt or something?"

It's funny, cause I always just snicker and give no reply.

I've managed to avoid most conflict, but trades/construction workers don't seem to be the most gay/bi accepting.

 

How well I know this. It can be so hard, not to stare at a good looking guy, on the job site.
You just have put the blinders on, and concentrate on your work, trying not to think about it.

 

I gossip with my coworkers sometimes but haven't gotten ratted out by them :3

Guests, on the other hand, break our safety rules and then yell at me because of their poor choices _-_

 

About 2 months ago we were putting in a footer and part of that required a concrete vibrator. For the uninitiated it's ~5 foot long and ~2 inches in diameter. The situation went exactly where you think it did. All I said was "If you want to put something that big up my butt you need to buy me dinner first." Which is true, I am a classy lady

 

I'd hate to see what one of those would do to someone! The shear power those things have, could do so serious damage inside.
Talk about a rectum wrecker!

 

Assuming the person did(not) completely rip the orifice of choice or die, they would not be walking for a week. I think a fair comparison would be 4 or 5 Hitachi vibrators.

another random thing I am freaking out over

my manager at work told me that i apparently had 1500$ over in my register on december 17 the other day...he told me he figures it was a computer error and he and another manager flat out told me not to worry about it they just wanted to question me to see if i remembered anything happening odd to the register that day which i just remember it crashing with error messages frequently....idk I'm just having an extreme panic moment because I'm like omg this is a huge amount will i be reported to the law what will happen to me for this....now its not a shortage but an overage so i've never dealt with that...now 2 of my managers told me to calm down and not to worry about it...and they are rather blunt managers (has got my ass chewed for stupid things before) but this is just freaking me out and I'm going to worst case scenario because i've never dealt with this.

 

They can figure it out, don't worry. I often add extra opening amounts to my tills at work and managers ask why I'm exactly 200 dollars short at the end of the night. Then they check my closing receipt and there it is, an opening balance 200 over what it was supposed to be. There are all kinds of safegaurds in place for this sort of thing. It's almost never your fault anyways. Don't stress ^^

 

Also, I'm still laughing, days later, about my "triwangle" joke over in naughty pics. I'm waiting for someone to slap their knee and tell me I'm the funniest guy alive.

 

thankies and I shall try lol ive had 2 managers look me in the eye and say its not something i need to worry about they just wanted to know if i remembered the computer doing anything weird like they blamed it immediately...its just where this is the first time something like this has happened at any of my jobs so its like wam bam panic LMAO

 

Did some quick math, my posts/likes ratio is 0.88, and I think that's pretty good!

My lovely friend @Brynjhulf has a ratio of 0.77, so HAH, I FINALLY WIN AT SOMETHING ^^
