Aah, that feeling when you remove your sweaty socks after a days hard work and letting them breath.... There's something magical about it.

Thanks! It's one of the levels of driving licenses in Canada. You start with a G1, where you can drive, but a more experienced person has to be with you, then onto a G2 where you can drive alone, but there are still some restrictions, and then a full G license, which is a full licence, with no restrictions.

Perhaps you could start a Movie Appreciation thread just to umbrella any and all movies. we would have jillion threads if each got its own

I get pretty loopy when I'm tired too. xD If I'm super tired I barely remember what happened.

    Congrats on your G2!
I'm still stuck with my stupid G1. Lot of good that does me in America. XD

If only I could somehow get my G license in BC. A BC license you can just "trade in" for a Washington State one. I wouldn't have to get another Learner's Permit (American G1) from Washington.

As of right now we have double the number of people online than original forum, just saaayin

what's really interesting is that we have far less guests than they do, I want to believe that it's because more guests decide to just register here than they do there

well based on what I know of the american vs canadian system it's much easier to get a license here in america (though remember to know bike laws too in WA. Those appear on the driver's test as well under the reasoning that you have to be able to know what a bicyclist can and can't do. Can you tell I failed this part of the test initially?)

Huh, usually if you're over 18 you can skip the learners permit all together, so I'm guessing it's because you weren't born a US citizen, which is just silly.

Why the weather here has to be apparently on her period, changing moods every so often. Yesterday - hot as hell, 32 Celcius, sun shining all the way. Today - 20 Celcius tops, thunderstorms and rain all day. Tomorrow is going to be nice, beautiful and hella hot again. It's not really good, I could use more stable weather.

Hmm, maybe there's a chance that I don't have to retake the learner's test! I would love that.

@Keely: Thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely research it when the time comes.

yup! there are physical and online booklets that tell you all the laws and everything you need to know for the written portion of the test and the bike laws should be in there :3 If you basically memorize the booklet you'll do fine on the written part of the test! And as for the driving part as long as you know all the laws and can drive well you should be fine. I only got one point off and that was for when I had to parallel park on a residential street I parked a little too close to a fire hydrant :p
