So let's get the troops together and let the nooby mayhem begin. @vahaala Surely you could afford it at $18 dollars or so? Also what is the best times of days to play seeingm as we are all in different time zones?

 

9am PST - 5PM PST are my usual non-work + awake times.
also, Val is between jobs, so any money is hard to come by.

 

@SnowLycan I have right now about... $4 in my wallet, and less than $0.01 on my bank account xD (BTW, for us Steam is giving prices in Euros... which are the same as USD though, lol. Just different currency.)
I'll just let you all know here if I'll buy CSGO It rather won't happen soon though.

I was playing the Talos Principle and the physics engine crapped itself. I managed to get some pretty cool aerial screenshots. No cheats or noclip were used to get these.

 

Anyone remember those MS-DOS games? Good times. My favorites had to be Master of Orion II and Ascendancy.

 

I miss playing the Journeyman Project series. Stupid Win 7 being too advanced to play them.

 

Ok so I have 3 willing soldiers so far for a csgo game. A 4th waiting on a copy (don't worry you'll get it soon @vahaala)

Any other takers? Also casual or competitive?

 

It's been a while since I played, but if we're taking 5 people, the only 5v5 option is competitive, isn't it? I prefer smaller teams overall (so competitive.) The maps don't really suit having 10 vs 10 or even more.

 

With larger groups its getting rushed that is the problem.

 

Oi, yeah. Nothing like playing bomb maps as CT and having the 10 man terrorist teams all stacking one bomb site.

 

Lol especially if your the only CT to wander to that particular bomb site alone.

 

Holy crap, I just noticed that a store here in Sweden has the Majora's Mask edition with the Skull Kid figurine in stock. I already managed to order the special 3DS with the MM design though. Damn it, I really want that figurine but at the same time... money.

WTF all the UK bundles for the Majora's mask are terrible. I want the skull boy figurine.

 

I still play Fragile Allegiance and Tie Fighter in DOSBox

Try DOSBox, it's a DOS emulator and you can play all day! Even supports networking!

 

I've tried setting one of those up, not user friendly. Eventually gave up trying.

 

It's certainly not intuitive but with some planning, you can streamline it a little. Were you having trouble playing something, or setting up a network?
