Switching over to the dark theme fixed the avatar problem, but I don't care much for the dark theme.

EDIT: Switched back. Everything seems fine now.

 

It's just if I ever did find the one for me. Which I highly doubt will happened. I'd want he or she to love only me and not have to compete for full affection against other partners.
Is that a wrong way of thinking?

But a thing that annoys me the most is when people that cheat say they are poly when they are not. Cause in a poly relationship all parties have to agree.

 

There's nothing wrong with thinking that way! I'd say that its the more "normal" way of thinking. Though mono and poly relationships may have different dynamics, there is nothing inherently wrong about either, and people will have a preference. Hell, like so many other sexual/relationship preferences, its probably an inherent part of you. (I wish I was more open about this stuff when I studied Genetics, it would be cool to study factors that influence whether someone is poly/mono).

And yeah, people who cheat and use the "I thought it was an open/poly relationship" are just falling back on bad excuses. If someone doesn't know they're in a poly relationship, then its not a real poly relationship.

 

What exactly is a polyamourous relationship? I'm a little ignorant on the subject.

 

Soooo, I've finally started drawing again, after being stuck at a pretty nasty inspiration block for about 2 months now.

I'm actually pretty effing proud of this...it's probably my favorite Crimes-face I've ever drawn!

I'm in the same boat with SnowLycan as far as a romantic relationship. I couldn't be romantically attracted to more than one person.

I could engage in having more than one sexual partner, or being in a group as long as everyone is on the same page.

Back on to the subject of relationships it's just that society is changing were being loyal to the one you love doesn't seem to mean monkeys anymore.

Even if my mind is set to mono it just feels that I am being egotistical that I want my lover to have eyes for me and no one else. I don't like feeling jealous or afraid that my lover may like the other partner more than me if I was ever in a poly relationship.

 

I have an ongoing open relationship with my bed. I may be able to bring other people into it, but it's been so long, it'll likely take too much work for me to show, i.e. slow grower.

 

thinking of trying to get some sort of crowdfunding thing going so I can raise some money to get more woodworking and metalworking tools and materials. considering someone can make a patreon for their blog where they do nothing but complain about others I'm sure I could probably raise enough to get at least some basic stuff like hand planes and chisels and stuff

Ughhhh.... I get so fuckin pissed at people for always needing to sensationalize things.

My roommates and I often like to get into very racy conversations before we host parties. One of my roommates started talking about his friend who is a gay furry. Even having a good friend who is a furry, he still subscribes to the "furrys all have sex in animal costumes" BS, and spews so much gay hate about the guy that I wonder how they maintain a friendship... And my other roommate just figures that a furry is the most disgusting thing she's heard of... Then they don't listen to me explain that furries really aren't all about sex an that their really good people (Im not myself a furry, but the furries I've met here are awesome people).

Everybody just likes to take pot shots at groups that they make no effort to understand, and it pisses me off!

If anything positive came out of it, I'm sort of interested to meet my roommates friend... He sounds like a decent guy and I've already been informed that he is both gay and has a thing for them crazy furry dildo things

 

I know a lot of people that like the stories I've told them about from Jay Naylor's Original Life but they all refused to read it when they find out that he makes money from yiff art.

Move past insecurities and find true joy.

 

that's really unfortunate :< sometimes people feel like they bond better with people when they make fun of others. Its an all to common behavior that needs to be removed from society

 

Yeah, this is totally true... My landlord and his girlfriend know im gay, and often just cringe or try to redirect the conversation when my roommates get like this.
I've been meaning to be more open about being gay, but when people act like this, it gives me second thoughts

 

The fact that your roommates haven't even figured it out practically tears down any misconception they could have about gay people. Do you have any reason to believe that they would treat you badly if you told them?
