The only thing the really do that annoys me is nag about all the things I 'should' do. Looking into school again being their favorite :/

I can use a microwave. That's basically the same right?

A good thing is they said my sister and I have to plan dinner tomorrow so I suggested Pizza (because I'm a fatty) and my dad said it's $10 tuesdays at papa murphy's. So I'm going to get Tuesday night to myself

 

My family dinners are to reconnect as a family but that's an issue as everyone wants to be in the living room or my stepmom is being particularly bitchy. Or I work night shift.

Too many parents focus on "whats wrong" with their kids rather than whats right.

 

Yeah and it sucks because if I bring up something I did that I thought was good or had fun doing they'll bring up something bad. They've done this my entire life so I just talk to them as little as humanly possible.

Best thing you could do is break the cycle and vow to never be that way with your own brood (if you ever plan to have any that is)

 

Yeah if I ever have the terrible tradgedy of children befall me I'll do better than my parents did.

 

family dinners for me usual end up devolving into arguments over stupid stuff because someone doesn't understand something, topics range from science to art and everything inbetween, technology especially. or i get to hear about my brother all the time because he's the favorite in my family. ah, good times *sarcasm*

On the topic of family dinners, ours often have some really stimulating discussion, especially if my brother is over. We've always enjoyed talking about science, religion, politics, world events, books, movies, anything that can have an involved discussion. Sometimes we talk about all of that in one night! It can be pretty danged awesome.

Edit: Oh, and I finally saw the third Hobbit movie today! Thranduil is soooo preeeetty ;_;

 

blargh, worked on homework for almost 8 hours today and managed to fix some windows 8.1 bugs. fixed the HP support assistant, fixed the speakers, finally got to update drivers for a few things. found a work around for the 2 finger right click thing being disabled in 8.1, the usual registry editor trick didn't work so I had to mess with the third party two finger scroll plugin to make it work again after the update. for someone who's not very good with computers I think I did pretty good

 

The day has come for getting my new tattoo! Even though it will be my fourth and I know exactly what to expect I'm still nervous. ):

 

I was planning to get the appointment for my second one in a few hours XDDDD I don't know if I want to tough. I'm feeling awfully lazy.

 

There will be plenty of time for laziness afterwards!
