Got my new gaming chair. My butt is now super comfy.

 

Comfy butts are best butts

 

My butt is a happy butt, although a sad butt now cause I have found out the gas cylinder used to lift the chair is faulty and it seems the company want me to send it back fully rather than just sending a replacement cylinder.

 

Getting really sick of dealing with my boyfriend's military BS. x_x I've not gotten a peep out of him as to what I should be expecting with this whole charade. It's been ~20 hours since we last talked, and I just want some go-ahead on what the heck is even going on. It's more or less just a giant athletic camp that he's getting paid to go to. This whole thing is really starting to bum me out, and if I'm not gonna be able to talk to him except for on the weekends, I'll probably end up exploding. x_x

 

I've dropped my phone numerous times before but this is the first fall that actually caused a crack to appear. And it wasn't even a long fall lmao.

I can still use it though but eh. Either way it gives me a little more excuse to get a new phone xD

 

Sprout is on my keyboard! It's hard to type with a bird eating the keys!!!

I feel really lonely today, and I realized that this is the only place left on the internet where I can actually talk to people and have that feeling of being part of a family/community. It's sad really.

 

I think then you should know two things :
A) we love you too <3
B) you're not alone in this. At least I feel the same pretty much.

 

I MEAN don't get me wrong...I'm so happy to have you guys <3

It's just...the other 'communities' I've been apart of have all been unraveling and I hope the same thing doesn't happen here.

 

I honestly never felt better, in any community (either IRL or online). It's just like I was meant to be here - I feel such strong bond with everybody on here it's hard to describe ^^ If for some reason I'd lose the access to this forum, I'd feel... idk, empty?
I think it's the origins and the nature of this forums that make me feel so comfortable around. But that's just me.

 

Hnnrgh - I just got an email from the company I applied to. Someone from another dept. there was given my resume and wants my transcripts and a writing sample! Super excited, but now I need to choose what writing to send him...

 

I'm really cold and now it's snowing >.> I probably won't go anywhere tonight =/

 

In a horrid mood due to consequences of stuff that's 110% my fault, but managed to nab *the perfect Mini Flint marble* from BD's drop today even after it'd said somebody already had it in their cart, and then whoever it was dumped it at the last minute, so I guess the day balances out as even? 0_o

What department?

 

The environmental department, for site assessments and geographic information systems. Originally I went there for geology stuff, but hey - a job is a job, and I've got nothing to do while I wait to see if I've been funded for grad school.

 

Then send them a paper on a related subject if you have it.

 

Good idea. I ended up sending them a review article I did in school over hydrofracking since it was good writing and more related than my geology research stuff.
