Ahh, good thread! There's several things posted here that I already liked.
Here's some recent favorites of mine.

    Bastion:
Not a song, but it kind of leads into the second one nicely

Which is right after it on the playlist!

And... the one after the next (not as much, but still enjoyable)

And the final track! Really love this guy's voice.

Crypt of the Necrodancer: A roguelike Rythem-turn-based game (yes, really) I love the idea of it.
Tutorial music: Chill electronic. The rest of the OST is a bit more upbeat.

    to be continued...

right here (5 media upload limit)
Uh... unnamed tracks, AFAIK. Their "name" is the zone they appear in. Each track has a "normal" version as well as a "shop keeper" version. In game, when you get near a shop keeper, they sing along with the music, before fading out as you get further away. It annoyed me at first, but he quickly grew on me :p (so I'm linking shop keeper versions) I pretend his vocal range is *huge* (clearly it's electronic)

this one sounds the best, IMO, but I love all of these.

    Little wind down music

    FTL: Last Stand

The entire FTL soundtrack is pretty solid. Very chill electronica stuff, well suited to the space atmosphere. The entire thing feels like a brain massage with the way music fades back and fourth between headphones (wear headphones.)
This... is the only track you need to listen to, though.
The bit @ 3:27 is my absolute favorite thing <3. Turn it up!

I think that the music partially made up for FTL success. It just wouldn't be the same game with any other music.

And now for something completely different.
    Final Fantasy XI: Ronfaure

This is why I like the genre that is "Video game music." It covers such a broad range.
This particular track is pure nostalgia... but it's also beautiful.
Trivia: Most of the music in FFXI was not composed by Nobuo Uematsu, but this is one of the few.

I've spent many nights listening to Skyrim's OST while I work. Still, I think my favorite is...

The opening bit, and @ 1:25 are sooooo pretty.

i love the nether's music because it invokes a sense of wonder and hopelessness. like, you get lost and then Ballad of the Cats plays...
and the End music is just *swoon* especially where it starts to rise in the middle

also i need to make a second post because there's a 5-media limit

This pianist is excellent. I haven't had time to look through everything (there's tons of content) but I thoroughly enjoyed his Skyrim covers.
    Skyrim main theme

I've always had a love for the classic sonic tunes <3
The one I most commonly find myself whistling is Angel Island Zone from Sonic 3. It's a catchy melody. This is the Sonic Generations remix, but I believe it does the original song justice.

Emerald Hill Zone from and Chemical Plant Zone from Sonic 2 are a couple I love, too.

Today's contributions: From Mega Man 2, DuckTales, and Super Smash Bros Melee (remix of Mach Rider theme)

And as a bonus, from The Big Band of Rogues, the Super Mario Brothers 3 ending theme. Just listen to that soprano sax and melt.

I feel so old... I'm more of a old school gamer, so most of my memories are from the NES and SNES days. I can still rock out to LoZ 2: Adventure of Link and Megaman.
Some lesser known titles: Illsuion of Gaia, Lagoon, and Secret of Evermore. That last one was a seriously underrated game. I'll list a few here:

Of course there's another one made by Square: Super MAro RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
Of course, some of those just hold a place in my heart for the game play, so hard to be objective. I would've put Earthbound up there but... while the music is good, it's not my favorite. The game itself however is.

Yeah, Lagoon had some pretty good music, good graphics but god damn that game was hard. One of the few games I never actually beat (got to the final final boss).
