Hello hello~

I figured I should post one of these things sooner rather than later~ I'm Cancel and I just followed y'all from the old BD forums. That said I already love the layout over here and the threads look fantastic! :3

I'm located in South Dakota and in the process of transitioning from female to male (the term cboy/cboi doesn't bother me in the slightest so just call me whatever you want, lol). I'm just another 'silicone sculpture' collector and furry fandom/tumblr lurker. I'm also utter trash at these sorts of things but I hope to meet new people here and keep in contact with those that I already know ;3

Hi Cancel! Good to have you here. I remember seeing you around the old forums (I was mostly a lurker and made my first account about a year ago, then rejoined this summer before the shitstorm, lol). I am also ftm and on my way to becoming a collector of silicon 'sculptures'... only have one so far! Anyway, good to meet you!

Oh no, not rude at all! I'm over in WI. ^^ I also like to see other transfolks nearish-by. I have yet to find someone in the same state/area that I could meet up with. It'd be nice to have someone irl to hang out with that is in the same boat. However, I have found that the online communities are also great to have. I've met some cool people via reddit and BD. :3

 

Same, I haven't found anyone here locally that's in the same situation to really meet up with but hey, WI, that's closeish? Lol, very cool. I haven't looked too far into reddit but I've met a few cool people from the BD forums so I totally get what you're sayin. :3 I might have to go check out reddit as well!

 

Welcome ya midwesterner! I spent about half a year out in SD, although most of my life has been spent living in Wisconsin. Always fun to meet new people from the area (as you said, it's close enough!)

 

Whoa, so wait-- three of us BDC forumers in the Midwest, AND we've all been raised on one side of the gender fence and settled down over on the other? Woo! Talk about this being a small world!

Oh very cool! If you don't mind me asking, what part of South Dakota were you in? I haven't seen much of the state after moving here several years ago but I've heard it can be really different. I'm over on the west side of the state. :3

I was in Pine Ridge on the Reservation for the Lakota tribe doing some volunteer work. It is very different from a lot of the state, but cool nonetheless.
