I recently added another couple mods to my minecraft (and edited the configs) so now I'm basically playing limited creative mode, with out flying.

The mod I added let's me exchange blocks for these arbitrary points which can then be spent to create any other block. So I can turn dirt into diamonds, mind you I would need 8192 blocks of dirt, but still. Also ender pearls are 128 points, which when coupled with my enderman farm :3 I am having so much more fun this way. It's broken to all hell but I really don't care :p

Also now I'm working on a MASSIVE library that sorta hugs my MASSIVE cathedral in the End. It'll probably have around 7-10 thousand blocks of quartz and obsidian when I'm done.

So I found a way to only, very slightly, completely break TF2 rocket jumping videos today. I can now reliably cheat pretty much any jump, and have it look really legit.

If I were a bad person I could use this to make my penis look bigger really good fake videos and pass them off as legit.

My local scene is carrying Smash 4 now! Time to grind the hell out of this game and get high on the PR while the meta is young!

There's a lot of depth to this game that wasn't really noticed immediately... Pivoting seems like it's extremely useful, and you can do some pretty unexpected maneuvers with it.

So I started work on redoing my very first TF2 Rocket Jumping Tool Assisted Speedrun. This new run is sooo much better than my last. I probably shaved 40 seconds off of a 3 minute run. There is absolutely no way a human could do it in a single segment. There are probably like 30 1 tick glitches (it's a 66 tick game) and it's just so much faster than anything else it's almost unbelievable. I did these glitches by binding one of my keys so that I can slow down time and perfectly get the glitch when I need it, and I have a plugin that will save my position and velocity in space that I can return to at any time.

Only took like 1 hour to record and it'll take another (much more boring) hour to watch back through it to cut out the parts I don't need. Then probably 2-3 hours to record into AVI and then edit it. And then I'll be happy that I did a much better job than my first one.

This is the slow mo thing I was talking about:

and this is my first TAS that I have completely destroyed now:

I FUCKING LOVE PLAYING THIS GAME IN A COMPLETELY UNINTENDED WAY!!!

So I just bought myself Don't Starve Together (the multiplayer one). Anybody up for playing it together? If so just shoot me a message on Skype/Steam.

I'd love to if it comes out of early access sometime soon... I have Don't Starve, and get DST when it comes out of early access, but would have to pay 20 bucks to play it right now.

Super jelly, hoped to snag one in town but didn't look like any of the places got it, and it (and the Monster Hunter bundle for that matter) sold out nearly immediately and is still being sc

I super want to get back into CS, but man it's so hard after so long. I use to play CS1.6 on a "professional" level? I mean, I made money playing it when I was 16 and super hardcore into it, so that's got to count for something. But now, man it's hard to get use to the shooting mechanics again.

We're not worried about skill level, really. I can't aim like I could when I was an early teen either. None of us have a history of competitive play. We die a lot, and play far from optimally.
    It's just for fun.

I'm tempted to get CS:GO, but I'm concerned that I probably don't have the time to spend playing to git gud at it.

Can someone explain these "episodic" games? The ones where long games get released in "episodes" which are about an hour or so long each, such as "Life is Strange" and the new Resident Evil game?

    IMHO cashgrab

But in reality I think the theory is that they can tell the story better that way, and they can patch any bugs in between episodes, which keeps the reputation somewhat better, I guess. I'd rather just 1 full game 12+ hour game, but they seem to be fairly popular for some reason.

i really miss the days when games came to you complete. as in yeah, there are very minor bugs, but you can enjoy the game to its fullest. i fear interconnectivity and constant internet access has made the developers a bit lax and misuse their beta testers. instead of fixing reported bugs and glitches, they are focusing on server strain tests. Not to mention killing the story to focus on the multiplayer aspect.

I assumed that Episodic games were usually based on TV shows or comics (telltale games basically) and use the episode thing to stay current with material that has been released not exactly on their schedule.
