I was supposed to get paid at my other workplace but haven't seen that check.

They also didn't tell me my schedule so I couldn't come in Sunday like I was evidently supposed to. Plus I asked to only work weekends but they're not doing that either.

Also that really sucks, Jazzi. D: That's exactly how my old job was. >_> I loathed it, and then when I did work I always got placed with the manager. So when we were working, he would always go in the back room to eat and let me deal with all the customers. :') Even when the line was starting to get to the door. That and I had to take the phone calls too, while having customers even if he was standing RIGHT there not doing anything. I am never working retail again.

 

Grimm how did that friggin manager not get fired?
Also working retail sucks more dick than a gay porn marathon.

 

You know, I have NO idea. >_> I mean, don't get me wrong he was a really nice guy and he took care of his employees (like he would have get together where we'd all meet up at his place and play games, and he would even order a shitton of pizza and other food for us) but... I don't know. I'm sure he wasn't fired because for being a manager at a GameStop, in our district (out of 4,000 other GameStops) our store was like.. in the top 10. Our town barely had 16k people... He pushed fucking pre-orders on games and shit WAY too much, he forced us to sell the membership cards all the time (even if the people were old or they were kids?????????).

I just don't know man. It sucked. BAD.

 

I know that feeling. My current boss is relatively immature for her age...what's worse is that I'm sure that pretty much all the staff are smarter than she is...it's really sad

 

That's weird... It hasn't even showed up as pending?

 

Wow that would be terrible. >_> God. Young managers who are just dumb are literally the worst. That's sorta why I want to start up my own little business of sorts. I want to work for a kennel or eventually have my own but... Idunno. ;m;

 

What's worse is that the assistant manager is only 19...and she's dumber than the manager >.>
And I've worked for a kennel before, and it can be fun for the most part ^.=.^

 

They hired a manager over us right before I got laid off from my last job. He totally broke the comfortable atmosphere we had going on, and as soon as he appeared all the work started piling up. (literally, we had the warehouse almost empty before he showed up, and within two days we could barely walk around... our job was to move stuff out of the warehouse)

 

In other news, gonna do some house cleaning cause I'm bored and such.
