What Is On Your Mind?

Indeed. I'm so glad my long-term partner understands that I can love and adore her (and have for over 20 years!), and still enjoy dating other people, and still need alone time and want my ridiculously huge silidicks. I just wish she could understand why I need so many.

The really terrible thing is how bad most guys are at sex. I'm really starting to think that most guys don't really like sex. I mean, if you like something, don't you study up on it, practice it, and try to get better at it? In fact, I think most guys are deeply angry and resentful at their own sex drives and the ludicrous things it makes them do, and they transfer that anger and resentment toward women; in the process, they decide they're just going to be bad at it, because it's not really worth the effort.

That was sweet of them. My veterinarian's office sent us a condolence card when we lost our cat, complete with a picture of her. We all greatly appreciated the gesture.

 

So I just got a copyright notice for a video I put up on youtube... last June... and the people that claimed it wanted all of my ad revenue for the video... and I don't monetize anything I do on youtube...

It's a good thing these don't count against me or I'd be banned by now. 12 of my 40 videos got copyright notices. and 1 of them was a claim on fucking classical music, which has no copyright anymore (unless whatever family owns it is complete twats). Also in the description of EVERY video I've made (except 1) I credit the people that made the music and say that I didn't make it. And the one I didn't credit hasn't gotten a notice...

Life goes on.

that happens quite a lot, same as debt scams, people are more likely to give some money rather than face a court case even if the claims are completely unfounded

Forgot to mention this but my mom just recently fractured her elbow :<
What happened was that she went to a local chinese take out restaurant and apparently they had a bunch of water on the floor and no wet-floor signs. My mother ended up slipping and landed hard on her elbow, and a couple days later (yesterday) discovered that her right elbow was fractured.

 

Well, the restaurant should have insurance to cover that stuff. I assume your mom doesn't want to pay out of pocket for treatment.

 

She's plan on pursuing a court case against them to cover health costs and obtain a little extra compensation for her troubles.

 

Well I do hope they cover her for all expenses seeing as wet floor signs are mandatory. I should know I work in retail.

Went outside to run in foot deep snow for a while. That felt good; my cabin fever has been building up.

 

my business law professor that makes most of his income as a litigator has said it's really hard to get any damages outside of medical expenses to fix an injury or to pay for counseling. it's rare for courts to award damages just to make someone feel better, they need to have been injured economically because of it. she may be able to get some compensation since they didn't have a warning sign but I wouldn't expect much past that and reimbursing medical expenses

Paid the deposit on my bodysuit, and the maker found UV reactive lime green and pink fur, so I'm gunna ROCK on the DANCEFLOOR.
