new game+ and I haven't gotten past Avaa yet. I got impatient and started NG+ right before the third DLC came out, I'm also doing the DLC without completing the main storyline first and out of sequence with the other two DLCs so that may be a problem

 

You're fighting visible Avaa I hope . You can do the DLC whenever, but NG+ is clearly a step up.

 

he's visible, I just always get fucked up on anticipating his attacks and managing to evade the flying ice spikes attack

Final fantasy XIV, Good King Moggle Mog. Silly, almost cartoony song that I think is fun to listen to. Could not find a song without some gameplay in the background, so ignore that.
