Money, and not sure if I can be arsed anyway. I've been so busy these past couple of weeks, I kind of just want to relax.

 

hmmm, do homework or take a nice long relaxing bath... decisions decisions...

 

Ugh. The last three days have been go-go-go. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday it was work all day and be out all night. Wednesday and Thursday it was professional obligations crap, "meet people, tell them about where you work, learn new stuff, try to hire new people," blur-de-blar-de-bloo. Tuesday, I had a date with Smallest and OMG, we had so. much. fun. The bedroom is gonna reek of sex for a month after that.

I was so glad to get home Friday and just relax!

I did discover a really, really neat feature. My new laptop is a Yoga, and I put Linux on it. And now the gyroscope driver works so if I turn it on its side, the screen orients automatically into portrait mode. I went out and bought a Microsoft All In One keyboard and now I can write stories with all the text visible at once in one long page, the way we've always used paper. It's amazing.

I also bought a large Chance in medium; it was on sale and my dick fund had reached enough to afford it. I'm on tenterhooks waiting for it! It arrives Tuesday!

 

Hmm, those are pretty good reasons.

I've wanted a tattoo for years, but I've never been able to decide on what exactly. It needs to mean something to me, look awesome, and generally be worth it. Well, today in the shower it came to me - I want an Oblivion tattoo. Almost certainly Dark Brotherhood themed. I've been in love with and honestly passionate about Oblivion since it came out almost a decade ago. Now I have to decide what exactly I'm going for... I do love the skill art from the game such as:



But I found this (can't track down the artist) and something along these lines would be perfect:

Oh man, I was borderline obsessive about Sithis in high school haha. Definitely working that in somehow.

 

Skyrim includes an amazing piece of Sithis Artwork you could consider hailing instead?

 

All of this makes me wish so badly that I could draw. I would really prefer to design my own tattoo by hand. Hopefully I can find a tattoo artist who is a fan of Oblivion when the times comes.

 

You can always just commission an artist to make something and take that in, sure it means a little extra money but hey, you're marking your body semi-permanently! Worth the investment ^^

 

Elder Scrolls tattoos would be the best. Good reminder of some of the really great bits of Oblivion...although was always a fan of the Shivering Isles expansion myself. Damn beautiful.

I got a couple Skyrim inspired pendants from Shapeways. PeregrineStudios, specifically.

Also an amulet of Articulation, which does not help stammering in reality. Shame. Kynareth has a turquoise cabochon in the pictured side, and a...chrysocolla in the other. Articulation has two turquoise and a hemalyke. Stendarr is most comfortable to wear though.

There's a lot of drama surrounding the art-site thing. FA has opened up about the IMVU thing (Q&A), but SomeoneElse may have made them an offer first that they turned down. The timing of this response isn't really all that coincidental (what is). And there might be a lot of great potential in SomeoneElseArtsite but out of principle I really want nothing to do with it.
